2013 Jacksonville Jaguars Season
The 2013 Jacksonville Jaguars season was the franchise's 19th season in the National Football League, the first under general manager David Caldwell, and the first under head coach Gus Bradley. Although they missed the playoffs and started 0–8, the Jaguars improved upon their then-franchise-worst 2–14 record from 2012; but failed to improve their 1–7 home record from last year. Much like 2012, the root of their victories were intra-division. The Jaguars also gained a close non-divisional victory over the Browns to finish 4–12. AFC South
The American Football Conference – Southern Division or AFC South is one of the four Division (sport), divisions of the American Football Conference (AFC) in the National Football League (NFL). It was created before the 2002 NFL season, 2002 season when the league realigned divisions after expanding to 32 teams. Will Blackmon
William Edwards Blackmon (born October 27, 1984) is a former American football safety and return specialist. He played college football for the Boston College Eagles, and was drafted in the fourth round of the 2006 NFL Draft by the Green Bay Packers. He has also played for the New York Giants, Seattle Seahawks, Jacksonville Jaguars, Washington Redskins, and briefly for the Saskatchewan Roughriders of the Canadian Football League. Early life Blackmon was born in Providence, Rhode Island but grew up in Cranston. He was raised by his father and grandmother after his mother died from Crohn's disease when he was 6 years old. William Middleton (American Football)
William Middleton (born July 28, 1986) is a former American football cornerback in the National Football League (NFL). He was drafted by the Atlanta Falcons in the fifth round of the 2009 NFL Draft. He played college football at Furman. Middleton was also a member of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Jacksonville Jaguars and San Diego Chargers. Early years Middleton attended Marist High School where he totaled 148 tackles, 10 interceptions, six pass deflections, two kickoff returns for touchdowns, and two blocked punts. Rashean Jamil Mathis (; born August 27, 1980) is a former American football cornerback in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Bethune–Cookman University, and was drafted by the Jacksonville Jaguars in the second round of the 2003 NFL Draft. He also played for the Detroit Lions and is regarded as one of the best defensive players in the history of the Jacksonville Jaguars. Early years Mathis attended Englewood High School in Jacksonville at the same time as Brett Myers of the Chicago White Sox, and was a student and a letterman in football. Terrance O'Neil Knighton (born July 4, 1986) is an American football coach and former defensive tackle. He was drafted by the Jacksonville Jaguars in the third round of the 2009 NFL Draft after playing college football at Temple Owls football, Temple. Rashad Andre Jennings (born March 26, 1985) is an American football running back and coach for the Fan Controlled Football Kingpens. He was drafted by the Jacksonville Jaguars in the seventh round of the 2009 NFL Draft. He also played for the Oakland Raiders and the New York Giants. Eben Britton (born October 14, 1987) is a former American football offensive tackle who played six seasons in the National Football League (NFL).
