2013 Houston Dynamo Season
The 2013 season is the Houston Dynamo's 8th competitive season in Major League Soccer, 8th year of existence as a football club, and their second consecutive season playing at BBVA Compass Stadium. They also competed in the CONCACAF Champions League, participating in the knockout phase of the 2012–13 campaign being eliminated by Santos Laguna in the quarterfinal 3–1 on Aggregate. They will be opening the 2013–14 group stage in late July or early August 2013. During the 2013 season Houston suffered their first ever loss at BBVA Compass Stadium against Sporting Kansas City on May 12, 2013. The Dynamo are entering the season as the two-time defending MLS Eastern Conference post-season champions and runners-up to the MLS Cup. Houston Dynamo
Houston Dynamo FC (formerly officially, but still commonly, called the Houston Dynamo) is an American professional soccer club based in Houston. The Dynamo compete in Major League Soccer (MLS) as a member of the Western Conference. Established on December 15, 2005, the club was founded after their former owners relocated the San Jose Earthquakes' players and staff to Houston following the 2005 season. For their first six seasons in Houston, the Dynamo were based at Robertson Stadium on the campus of the University of Houston. During the 2012 season, the club moved to PNC Stadium, a soccer-specific stadium in East Downtown Houston. Warren Creavalle
Warren Creavalle (born August 14, 1990) is a former association football, footballer who played as a defensive midfielder, central midfielder or rightback. Born in the United States, he represented Guyana at senior international level, after representing the United States at youth international level. College and amateur Creavalle appeared in 73 career collegiate games, and he scored eight goals and had 10 assists. He played two years at Furman University before transferring to University of Central Florida. Jermaine Omar Taylor (born 14 January 1985) is a Jamaican professional footballer. The Portland Timbers are an American professional men's soccer club based in Portland, Oregon. The Timbers compete in Major League Soccer (MLS) as a member club of the league's Western Conference. Eric Brunner (soccer)
Eric Brunner (born February 12, 1986) is a retired American soccer player who played as a defender. Career Professional Following his college career Brunner was selected 16th in the 2008 MLS SuperDraft by New York Red Bulls. He initially signed a senior contract, but when the Red Bulls signed Andrew Boyens, they tried to move him down to the developmental roster. However, Brunner refused to take the pay cut and left the team. He signed with Miami FC of the USL First Division of May 20, 2008. Brunner made his first appearance for Miami on June 14, 2008, when he came on as a substitute and played for five minutes. Tyler Deric
John Tyler Deric (born August 30, 1988) is an American soccer player who plays as a goalkeeper for the Rio Grande Valley FC Toros in the USL Championship. Youth and college soccer Deric was coached by Scot Dymond at Texans SC during his youth career. Deric spent his high school years at Klein High School in Spring, Texas. There, Deric lead the Bearkats to a UIL 5A state championship in 2005 and received the honor of being named to the All-Tournament team as a sophomore in high school. His successful 2005 season came with a call up to the Texas ODP team.
