2013 Global RallyCross Championship
The 2013 Global RallyCross Championship was the third season of this championship. The season consisted of nine weekends, three in X Games events (including a doubleheader after an event cancellation). Toomas Heikkinen earned his first series championship after a record-setting streak of five consecutive victories. Rules changes A penalty box will be added for this season. In case of a false start, the driver must endure a stop-go penalty in this zone avoiding the need to restart the race. Stop-go penalty can be also given for too aggressive car-to-car contact, such causing a competing driver to spin out by pushing their car. The TitansRX International Series (formerly known as Red Bull Global Rallycross or Global Rallycross) is a group of rallycross series, currently organised by racing driver Max Pucher and businessman Chip Pankow. The initial series was series run in North America in 2011 and ran for seven seasons until the series folded in 2018, where the series was replaced by the Americas Rallycross Championship. In late-2018, Max Pucher revived the brand and set up the series Titans-RX Europe, starting in 2019 and the International Series planned to start in 2021. The 2020 campaign was scaled back to a one-make single race in March before resuming in 2021. Toomas Heikkinen
Toomas "Topi" Heikkinen (born 27 March 1991) is a rallycross and ice-racing driver from Finland. He won the Finnish Rallycross Championship in 2010 and the Global Rallycross Championship in 2013. He currently competes in the FIA World Rallycross Championship Supercar category, driving for EKS racing team. Heikkinen began his racing career in karting, later moving up to single-seater formula. He switched to rallycross in 2010. Sverre Isachsen
Sverre Isachsen (born 11 November 1970) is a Norwegian rallycross driver. Career Isachsen started with motorsports in 1989, and became Norwegian Rallycross Champion in 1999 and 2000. In 2009, 2010 and 2011 he became the European Rallycross Champion with a Ford Focus. He was also awarded the "Driver of the Year" title by the Norwegian Autosport Federation in 2010 and 2011. In 2012, Isachen signed a three-year deal to drive the Global RallyCross Championship for Subaru Puma Rallycross Team, together with Dave Mirra and Bucky Lasek. He previously drove the 2016 Subaru WRX STI GRC Car for Subaru. After the 2016 season, he and his teammate Bucky Lasek left Subaru to pursuit in other areas. Dave Mirra
David Michael Mirra (April 4, 1974 – February 4, 2016) was an American BMX rider who also competed in rallycross racing. He set the record for most medals in BMX Freestyle at the X Games (later tied by Scotty Cranmer) and earned at least one BMX medal at the event in all but one year from the competition's inception in 1995 until 2009. He also competed for several years with the Subaru Rally Team USA as a rallycross driver. Mirra rode for and was fully sponsored by Haro Bikes from the mid-1990s until he started his own bike company. He was a member of the team which won the 2014 Race Across America four-person male (under 50) category. Mirra died by suicide on February 4, 2016. Rhys Millen (born 6 September 1972) is a New Zealand-born racing driver. Nephew of IMSA GTS driver Steve Millen, son of Rodney and older brother of Ryan, is one of the America's top competitors in drifting.
