2013 Formula Renault 2.0 Alps Season
The 2013 Formula Renault 2.0 Alps Series was the third year of the Formula Renault 2.0 Alps series, and the twelfth season of the former Formula Renault 2.0 Alps, Swiss Formula Renault Championship. The championship began on 6 April at ACI Vallelunga Circuit, Vallelunga and finished on 6 October at Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari, Imola after fourteen races held at seven meetings. Debutant Antonio Fuoco dominated the championship from the first round, clinching both the junior and overall championship titles with a race to spare. Prema Powerteam drivers Luca Ghiotto and Bruno Bonifacio completed the top three in the drivers' standings, with the trio winning all fourteen races between them; Fuoco won six races, Ghiotto five and Bonifacio three. Ghiotto and Bonifacio also accrued enough points to win the teams title for Prema, with Fuoco's sister Prema Junior outfit finishing second. Antonio Fuoco (born 20 May 1996) is an Italian racing driver who currently serves as a development driver for the Scuderia Ferrari Formula One team and is a junior driver for the Competizione GT. Nicolas Jamin (born December 5, 1995) is a French racing driver who currently competes in the European Le Mans Series with United Autosports. AVF formerly AV Formula, was a Spanish motor racing team, ran by former racing driver Adrián Vallés. Andrew Tang (born 13 November 1994) is a Singaporean racing driver. Career Andrew Tang joined Team McLaren's Young Driver Programme in July 2012.
