2013 Budapest Grand Prix
The 2013 Budapest Grand Prix was a women's tennis tournament played on outdoor clay courts. It was the 19th edition of the Budapest Grand Prix, an International-level tournament on the 2013 WTA Tour. It took place at the Római Tennis Academy in Budapest, Hungary, from 8 to 14 July 2013. The organisers decided to hold the tournament despite the recent floods in Hungary, but canceled the qualifying rounds (the top four alternates entered the main draw automatically) and reduced the doubles draw from 16 teams to eight. María Teresa Torró Flor (; born 2 May 1992) is a Spanish former professional tennis player. Kaia Kanepi (; born 10 June 1985) is an Estonian professional tennis player. She achieved her career-high ranking of world No. 15 on 20 August 2012 and has won four singles titles on the WTA Tour. Eleni Daniilidou ( el, Ελένη Δανιηλίδου; ; born 19 September 1982) is a Greek former tennis player from the island of Crete. She is considered one of the best Greek tennis players of the Open Era, winning five singles titles and three doubles titles on the WTA Tour. In 2003, she reached the mixed-doubles final of the Australian Open, making her the first Greek player to have reached a Grand Slam final. Jana Čepelová (; born 29 May 1993) is an inactive Slovak tennis player. She has won seven singles titles and three doubles titles on the ITF Circuit. Shahar Pe'er ( he, שחר פאר, ; born ) is an Israeli retired tennis player. Pe'er won five singles and three doubles titles on the WTA Tour, as well as four singles and three doubles titles on the ITF circuit in her career.
