2013 Blancpain Endurance Series Silverstone Round
Round 2 of the 2013 Blancpain Endurance Series season took place at Silverstone Circuit on 2 June 2013. A field of 57 GT3 cars competed in the 3-hour endurance race. The race was won by the Aston Martin V12 Vantage GT3 of Aston Martin Racing, driven by Darren Turner, Fred Makowiecki and Stefan Mucke. Official results Class winners in bold. Christopher Mies (born 24 May 1989) is a professional German racing driver who currently competes for Audi Sport in GT3 series such as ADAC GT Masters and GT World Challenge Europe. Career Mies began his career in 2006 in the Toyota Yaris Cup Germany, followed in 2007 by the Ford Fiesta Cup Germany. While racing a Ford Fiesta ST he won Division 2 of the ADAC Procar Series in 2008. Davide Rigon (born 26 August 1986) is an Italian professional racing driver who is currently competing in the FIA World Endurance Championship and other selected GT races for AF Corse. Markus Palttala (born 16 August 1977 in Nakkila) is a Finnish racing driver. After racing in karts, Palttala began racing cars in the Finnish Touring Car Championship in 1998.
