2012–13 UNLV Runnin' Rebels Basketball Team
The 2012–13 UNLV Runnin' Rebels men's basketball team represented the University of Nevada, Las Vegas during the 2012–13 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The team was coached by Dave Rice, in his second year with the Runnin' Rebels. They played their home games at the Thomas & Mack Center on UNLV's main campus in Las Vegas, Nevada and were a member of the Mountain West Conference. They finished with a record of 25–10 overall, 10–6 in Mountain West play to finish in third place. They advanced to the championship game of the Mountain West tournament where they lost to New Mexico. Dave Rice (basketball)
David Wayne Rice (born August 29, 1968) is an American college basketball coach and is the former head men's basketball coach at UNLV where he ranks as the program's third-winningest coach. He spent the 2016-2017 season as an assistant coach at the University of Nevada, Reno, and an assistant coach at the University of Washington for the past three seasons (2017–present). Rice has served as a Division I assistant coach for 22 seasons. His first 11 seasons as a college assistant he spent at UNLV with those teams tallying 205 wins during thatime  In his most recent 11 seasons as an assistant coach, Rice has worked at Utah State, BYU, Nevada and Washington. Khem Xavier Birch (born September 28, 1992) is a Canadian professional basketball player for the San Antonio Spurs of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He played college basketball for the Pittsburgh Panthers and the UNLV Runnin' Rebels. Mater Dei High School (Santa Ana, California)
Mater Dei High School is a private, Catholic, co-educational secondary school in Santa Ana, California. It is located in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Orange. Mater Dei is known for its strong sports programs, especially in football, and for its multiple graduates who have won the Heisman Trophy. Dana Point, California
Dana Point () is a city located in southern Orange County, California, United States. The population was 33,107 at the 2020 census. Katin Thomas Reinhardt (born August 21, 1993) is an American professional basketball player for Belfius Mons-Hainaut of the Pro Basketball League. Mojave High School
Mojave High School, is a nine-month public high school that is part of Clark County School District located in North Las Vegas, Nevada. After a year of sharing a campus at Cheyenne High School on a "double session" schedule where Cheyenne students attended from 6 am to 12 pm and Mojave students attended 1 pm to 7 pm (while Mojave was under construction), the inaugural class, class of 2000, were the only class to not have an upper-class.
