West Indies Cricket Board
Cricket West Indies (CWI) is the governing body for cricket in the West Indies (a sporting confederation of over a dozen mainly English-speaking Caribbean countries and dependencies that once formed the British West Indies). It was originally formed in the early 1920s as the West Indies Cricket Board of Control, but changed its name to West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) in 1996. In November 2015, the Board resolved to rename itself as Cricket West Indies as part of a restructuring exercise that would also see the creation of a separate commercial body. Ronsford Beaton
Ronsford Rodwick Beaton (born 17 September 1992) is a Guyanese cricketer who plays for the Guyanese national side in West Indian domestic cricket, and also for the Trinbago Knight Riders franchise in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL). He is a right-arm fast bowler. Domestic career Beaton was born on the island of Montserrat, but moved to Guyana as a child, and was raised in the village of Reliance, in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region. He attended high school in Georgetown, at the Abram Zuil Secondary School, and later went on to the Guyana School of Agriculture. Beaton played for the West Indies under-19s at the 2012 Under-19 World Cup in Australia, and finished third in his team's wicket-taking. Joel Wilson (umpire)
Joel Sheldon Wilson (born 30 December 1966) is an international cricket umpire from Trinidad and Tobago. Wilson is currently a member of the Elite Panel of ICC Umpires, representing the West Indies. He stands in matches of all the three formats of international cricket – Tests, One Day Internationals (ODIs) and Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is). Umpiring career Joel Wilson was one of the twenty umpires selected to stand in matches during the 2015 Cricket World Cup hosted by Australia and New Zealand. Sir Vivian Richards Stadium
Sir Vivian Richards Stadium is a stadium in North Sound, Antigua, Antigua and Barbuda. It was built for use in the 2007 Cricket World Cup where it hosted Super 8 matches. The stadium usually caters for 10,000 people, but temporary seating doubled its capacity for the 2007 World Cup. The stadium is named after former West Indies cricket captain Viv Richards. Christopher Dion Barnwell (born 6 January 1987) is a West Indian cricketer who plays first-class and List A cricket for Guyana. A Guyana born all-rounder, Barnwell is better known for his clever bowling, but is also a useful pinch hitter in the limited overs format. Barnwell made his T20I debut for West Indies on 21 April 2011 in the home series against Pakistan.
