2012–13 New Zealand Women's One-Day Competition
The 2012–13 New Zealand Women's One-Day Competition was a 50-over women's cricket competition that took place in New Zealand. It ran from November 2012 to January 2013, with 6 provincial teams taking part. Canterbury Magicians beat Auckland Hearts in the final to win the competition. The tournament ran alongside the 2012–13 New Zealand Women's Twenty20 Competition. Competition format Teams played in a double round-robin in a group of six, therefore playing 10 matches overall. Matches were played using a one day format with 50 overs per side. The top two in the group advanced to the final. The group worked on a points system with positions being based on the total points. Central Districts Hinds
The Central Hinds are the women's representative cricket team of the Central Districts Cricket Association, based in central New Zealand. They play their home games at Pukekura Park, New Plymouth, McLean Park, Napier, Fitzherbert Park, Palmerston North, Saxton Oval, Nelson and other CDCA home venues. Natalie Claire Dodd (born 22 November 1992, in Hamilton) is a New Zealand cricketer who has represented New Zealand in women's one-day internationals. She made her international debut in 2010 as a teenager in year 12 at Waikato Diocesan School. Career A prolific top order batsman, Dodd started playing cricket when she was around 10 and quickly developed her skills and made her first rep side at age 11 when selected for the Northern Districts under-14 team. Kathleen Cross (born 28 June 1957) is a New Zealand former cricket umpire who stood in sixty-nine international matches. In 2018, Cross retired from international umpiring at the end of the Women's Twenty20 International series between New Zealand and the West Indies.
