Baltimore Blast (current)
The Baltimore Blast is an American professional indoor soccer team based in Baltimore, Maryland, United States. The team is a part of the Major Arena Soccer League. The team has won 10 championships since it was founded in 1980. Beginning with the 2017-2018 season, home games have been played at Towson University's SECU Arena. The Blast previously played at Baltimore Arena, Royal Farms Arena in downtown Baltimore. Andrew Hoxie
Andrew Jerod Hoxie (born October 8, 1986) is an American soccer player for Utica City FC in the Major Arena Soccer League. Career College and amateur Hoxie grew up in Newport News, Virginia, and attended Denbigh Baptist Christian School, where he won a state championship with the Minutemen. The team was coached by his father, Hal Hoxie. He played four years of college soccer at The College of William & Mary from 2005 to 2009 (redshirting in 2008), garnishing the CAA Player of the Year Award in his senior season, as well as earning third team All-American honors in 2009, and finishing his career with the Tribe with 91 points on 35 goals and 21 assists. During his college years Hoxie also played for Virginia Legacy in the USL Premier Development League, scoring 20 goals in 42 appearances in his 4 campaigns with the club. Ian Bennett (soccer)
Ian Dwight Bennett (born August 27, 1983) is a Canadian soccer player who plays for the Milwaukee Wave in the Major Arena Soccer League. He is the older brother of former Syracuse Silver Knights player Josh Bennett. Career College and amateur Bennett attended St. Thomas More Catholic Secondary School, and played college soccer at Marian College from 2003 to 2006. During his college years Bennett also played with the Hamilton Thunder in the Canadian Professional Soccer League; he joined the Thunder in 2001 and remained with the team through the 2005 season. In 2006, he spent the summer with the Palm Beach Pumas of the USL Premier Development League.
