2012–13 Indiana Pacers Season
The 2012–13 Indiana Pacers season was 46th season of the franchise and 37th season in the National Basketball Association (NBA). The regular season ended with a 49–32 win–loss record; the team only played 81 games due to a game versus the Boston Celtics being cancelled following the Boston Marathon bombing. The Pacers advanced to their first Conference Finals in nine years after defeating the Atlanta Hawks and New York Knicks, each in six games. In the Conference Finals, they fell to the defending champion Miami Heat in seven games. The Heat would go on to win its third NBA championship and second straight overall after defeating the San Antonio Spurs in a seven-game NBA Finals series. Frank Vogel
Frank Paul Vogel (born June 21, 1973) is an American professional basketball coach. He previously served as the head coach for the Los Angeles Lakers, Orlando Magic and Indiana Pacers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Vogel also previously served as an assistant coach of the Pacers, Philadelphia 76ers and Boston Celtics. He coached the Lakers to an NBA championship in 2020. Early years Vogel grew up in Wildwood Crest, New Jersey. During his eighth grade year, he was featured in an episode of '' Late Night with David Letterman'' during the Stupid Human Tricks segment, in which he spun a basketball on a toothbrush while brushing his teeth. On December 10, 1990, Vogel's childhood home caught fire and everything in the house was destroyed. 2013 NBA Finals
The 2013 NBA Finals was the championship series of the National Basketball Association's (NBA) 2012–13 season and conclusion of the season's playoffs. In this best-of-seven playoff series, the defending NBA champion and Eastern Conference champion Miami Heat defeated the Western Conference champion San Antonio Spurs, 4–3, winning their second consecutive title. The Heat were favored to repeat as champions over the Spurs. The finals began with Game 1 on June 6, and ended with Game 7 on June 20. This series marked the fifth time the Spurs have made the NBA Finals since 1999, second-most for any franchise in that span behind the Los Angeles Lakers. The UC Santa Barbara Gauchos are the intercollegiate athletic teams who represent the University of California, Santa Barbara. Orlando Johnson (basketball)
Orlando Vincent Johnson (born March 11, 1989) is an American professional basketball player for Club Atlético Aguada of the Liga Uruguaya de Básquetbol (LUB). He played college basketball for Loyola Marymount and UC Santa Barbara. College career Johnson, a 6'5 shooting guard from Palma High School in Salinas, California, first played collegiately at Loyola Marymount.
