2012–13 Dynamo Dresden Season
The 2012–13 Dynamo Dresden season is the 63rd season in the club's football history. In 2012–13 the club plays in the 2. Fußball-Bundesliga, the second tier of German football. It is the clubs second consecutive season in this league, having played at this level since 2011–12, after winning promotion from the 3. Liga in 2011. The club also takes part in the 2012–13 edition of the DFB-Pokal, the German Cup, where it reached the second round and will face Bundesliga side Hannover 96 next. Daniel Bierofka
Daniel Bierofka (; born 7 February 1979) is a German football coach and a former player. A former left winger, his playing career had been plagued by injuries which limited his chances of playing more matches for Germany national squad and forced him to retire after the 2013–14 season. Club career Bierofka came through the Bayern Munich youth system and made it to the reserve squad but never played for the senior team. He then transferred to city rival 1860 Munich where he played 55 games in two seasons. Bierofka then moved to Bayer Leverkusen for three years before going over to VfB Stuttgart. In the 2006–07 season, Bierofka won the Bundesliga title with VfB Stuttgart. In June 2007, Bierofka returned to 1860 Munich with the club committing to a deferred payment of €400,000. Dominik Stahl (born 20 August 1988) is a German former professional footballer who played as a defensive midfielder for 1860 Munich and SpVgg Unterhaching. Career 1860 Munich Stahl was born Hardheim, Baden-Württemberg, but grew up in Osterburken. He joined 1860 Munich at youth level in 2004, after playing for SV Osterburken, TSV Tauberbischofsheim and 1899 Hoffenheim. He progressed through the academy, before moving up to the under-23 team in the Regionalliga Süd in 2007. He would also go on the win the DFB Youth Cup with the under-19 team the same year. Benjamin Lauth (born 4 August 1981) is a German former professional footballer who played as a striker. He is most commonly known for his two spells at TSV 1860 Munich. Ruhrstadion (), known as Vonovia Ruhrstadion for sponsorship reasons, is a football stadium in Bochum, Germany. It is the home ground for the VfL Bochum and has a capacity of 27,599. It was known as rewirpowerSTADION (or, rarely, ) from 2006 to 2016, also for sponsorship reasons. History In 1911 the Spiel und Sport Bochum leased a meadow from a local farmer as their new home ground. Slawomir Paul Freier (Polish: Sławomir Paweł Freier; born 26 July 1979) is a German football coach and former player who was usually employed as a midfielder. He is currently the assistant manager of VfL Bochum U19. Biography Childhood and youth Freier was born in 1979 in the Upper Silesian city of Bytom (German: Beuthen).
