2012 World Series By Renault Season
The 2012 World Series by Renault was the eighth season of Renault Sport's series of events, with four different championships racing under one banner. Consisting of the 2012 Formula Renault 3.5 Series season, Formula Renault 3.5 Series, 2012 Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0 season, Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0, the 2012 Eurocup Mégane Trophy season, Eurocup Mégane Trophy and 2012 Eurocup Clio season, Eurocup Clio, the World Series by Renault ran at seven different venues, where fans could get into the meetings for no cost whatsoever, such is the uniqueness of the series. The series began on 5 Nay at the Ciudad del Motor de Aragón in Alcañiz, and finished on 21 October at the Circuit de Catalunya, just outside Barcelona. Renault Sport
Renault Sport () or Renaultsport, was the motorsport, performance and special vehicles division for Renault-badged cars. Renault Sport was officially established in 1976 as a merger between the Alpine and Gordini competition departments. It was reorganised in 2002 and 2016. In December 2021, all Renault Sport operations were merged into an Alpine-led business unit. Charouz Racing System (CHRS, also was known as Lotus in World Series Formula V8 3.5) is a racing team from Czech Republic, created in 1985 by . Marco Sørensen
Marco L. Sørensen (born 6 September 1990) is a Danish racing driver currently racing for Aston Martin Racing as a factory driver in the FIA World Endurance Championship. He was part of the Renault Driver Development. He has competed in such series as Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0, ADAC Formel Masters and the British Formula Ford Championship. His younger brother, Lasse, is also a racing driver and currently competes in the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series. Career Sørensen made his debut in karting back in 1994 and had his first real race in 1998. He began Formula racing in 2006 with Formula Ford Denmark. In 2008 was he able to place fourth in the ADAC Formel Masters despite only completing half of the season. The Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps (), frequently referred to as ''Spa'', is a motor-racing circuit located in Stavelot, Belgium. It is the current venue of the Formula One Belgian Grand Prix, hosting its first Grand Prix in 1925, and has held a Grand Prix every year since 1985 (except 2003 and 2006). Spa also hosts several other international events including the 24 Hours of Spa, the World Endurance Championship 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps. ISR Racing (also known as Coca-Cola Racing Team in FIA GT) is a racing team from Czech Republic, created in 1993 by Igor Salaquarda. The team is currently competing in ADAC GT Masters. Circuit de Monaco is a street circuit laid out on the city streets of Monte Carlo and La Condamine around the harbour of the Principality of Monaco.
