The 2012 Sioux Falls Storm season was the team's thirteenth season as a professional indoor American football, indoor football franchise and fourth in the Indoor Football League (IFL). One of fourteen teams competing in the IFL for the 2012 season, the Storm were members of the United Conference. Led by head coach Kurtiss Riggs, the Storm played their home games at the Sioux Falls Arena in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Sioux Falls entered the 2012 season following winning in the league's "United Bowl" championship game in 2011. Sioux Falls Arena
Sioux Falls Arena is a 7,500-seat multi-purpose arena located in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. The facility was built in 1961. It seats 6,113 for basketball games and 4,760 for indoor football and hockey. It was the home of the Sioux Falls Skyforce basketball team (1989–2013), the Sioux Falls Storm indoor American football, indoor football team, and the Sioux Falls Stampede ice hockey team, as well as a variety of state high school championship events. The Sioux Falls Arena hosted the men's and women's The Summit League, Summit League Basketball Championship from 2009 until the opening of the Denny Sanford Premier Center, Denny Sanford PREMIER Center in 2014. 2012 Colorado Ice Season
The 2012 Colorado Ice season was the team's sixth season as a football franchise and fourth in the Indoor Football League (IFL). Founded for the 2007 season as part of United Indoor Football, the Colorado Ice became charter members of the IFL when the UIF merged with the Intense Football League before the 2009 season. One of 16 teams that competed in the IFL for the 2012 season, the Fort Collins-based Colorado Ice were members of the Intense Conference. In their first season under head coach Heron O'Neal, the Colorado Ice played their home games at the Budweiser Events Center in Loveland, Colorado. The team recorded an 8–6 record and reached the playoffs for the second season in a row. The Ford Wyoming Center (formerly known as the Casper Events Center) is a multi-purpose arena in Casper, Wyoming, in the United States. The arena was built in April 1982. Toyota Center (Kennewick)
The Toyota Center is a multi-purpose arena in the northwest United States, located in Kennewick, Washington. Opened in 1988 as the Tri-Cities Coliseum, the arena's name was changed in 2004 to the Three Rivers Coliseum to match the Three Rivers Convention Center, which was built next door in the same year. In October 2005, a deal was reached between the city of Kennewick and Toyota, which agreed to pay $2 million over ten years for naming rights. The city uses the funds for needed improvements and upgrades to the facility. A smaller facility next door, built by the city in 1998, was named "Toyota Arena." In 2016, the Kennewick Public Facilities District will put to the voters an expansion of what is now known as the Three Rivers Complex. Resch Center
The Resch Center is a 10,200-seat multi-purpose arena, in Ashwaubenon, Wisconsin, United States built in 2002. It is the home of the University of Wisconsin–Green Bay Phoenix men's basketball team, the Green Bay Gamblers ice hockey team, and the Green Bay Blizzard indoor football team. The arena also hosts the annual high school girls' volleyball and girls' basketball tournaments for the Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association under a long-term agreement. Omaha Civic Auditorium
Omaha Civic Auditorium was a multi-purpose convention center located in Omaha, Nebraska. Opened in 1954, it surpassed the Ak-Sar-Ben Coliseum as the largest convention/entertainment complex in the city, until the completion of CHI Health Center Omaha in 2003. With the opening of the Ralston Arena in 2012, all teams that played at the Civic Auditorium moved, which reduced the venue's viability.
