2012 ADAC Formel Masters
The 2012 ADAC Formel Masters season was an open-wheel motor racing series for emerging young racing drivers based out of Germany. It was the fifth season of the ADAC Formel Masters. The season began on 31 March at Motorsport Arena Oschersleben and finished on 30 September at Hockenheim after eight race weekends, totalling 24 races. The championship was won by German driver Marvin Kirchhöfer. Season review The first two poles of the season were claimed at Oschersleben by second-year driver Jeffrey Schmidt for the Lotus team, that was previously known as Motopark Academy. But he was passed by his team-mate Marvin Kirchhöfer on the opening lap of the first race, with Kirchhöfer going on to win his first race in single-seaters. Schmidt and Kirchhöfer collided in the second race, while Thomas Jäger secured his first win in the German series, and the first for his team, Neuhauser Racing, since 2008. Roy Nissany
Roy Nissany ( he, רוי ניסני; born 30 November 1994) is an Israeli racing driver who is set to compete in the Formula 2 Championship with PHM Racing by Charouz. He is also currently a Formula 1 test driver with Williams Grand Prix Engineering. He is the son of former racing driver Chanoch Nissany. Personal life Nissany was born in Tel Aviv, Israel, and resides in Herzliya, Israel. He is the son of the former Israeli one-time Minardi Formula One test driver, Chanoch Nissany. Lausitzring
The Lausitzring (formally known as the Dekra Lausitzring for ownership reasons) is a race track located near Klettwitz (a civil parish of Schipkau, Oberspreewald-Lausitz district) in the state of Brandenburg in northeast Germany, near the borders of Poland and the Czech Republic. It was originally named Lausitzring as it is located in the region the Germans call Lausitz (Lusatia), but was renamed EuroSpeedway Lausitz for better international communication from 2000 to 2010. The EuroSpeedway has been in use for motor racing since 2000. Among other series, DTM (German Touring Car Championship) takes place there annually. It also used to host the Superbike World Championship. Red Bull Ring
The Red Bull Ring is a motorsport race track in Spielberg, Styria, Austria. The race circuit was founded as Österreichring (translation: Austrian Circuit) and hosted the Austrian Grand Prix for 18 consecutive years, from to . It was later shortened, rebuilt and renamed the A1-Ring (A Eins-Ring), and it hosted the Austrian Grand Prix again from to . When Formula One outgrew the circuit, a plan was drawn up to extend the layout. The Sachsenring () is a motorsport racing circuit located in Hohenstein-Ernstthal near Chemnitz in Saxony, Germany. Among other events, it features the annual German motorcycle Grand Prix of the FIM Grand Prix motorcycle racing world championship. Circuit Zandvoort (), known for sponsorship reasons as CM.com Circuit Zandvoort, and previously known as Circuit Park Zandvoort until 2017, is a motorsport race track located in the dunes north of Zandvoort, the Netherlands, near the North Sea coast line. It returned to the Formula One calendar in 2021 as the location of the revived Dutch Grand Prix. The is a 150,000 person capacity motorsports complex located in the town of Nürburg, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. Nicolas Beer
Nicolas Beer (born 5 April 1996) is a Danish racing driver. Career Karting Beer began karting in 2007 and raced in many different championships for the majority of his career. He ended his karting career in 2011, moving into single-seaters. HS Engineering is an Austrian motor racing team. It was founded in 2003 by Michael Hascic. HS Engineering always focussed on regional and continental championships in Germany and Europe. Clemente Alessio Picariello (born 27 August 1993) is a Belgian racing driver. His father is Italian. In 2001, he participated in his first race. Sebastian Balthasar (Cologne, Germany, 30 August 1996) is a German racing driver. Career Karting Balthasar started his racing career in the 2009 karting season. He became third in the Rotax Max Challenge Germany. A year later he entered the Ciao Thomas Knopper Memorial, the ADAC Kart Championship, the German Junior Kart Championship and the 21° Trofeo Andrea Margutti, with a tenth place as his best result.
