2011–12 West Bromwich Albion F.C. Season
The 2011–12 season was West Bromwich Albion's second consecutive season in the Premier League, their sixth in total. During the season, they competed in the League Cup and the FA Cup. Albion finished the season in 10th place after their last league game was a 2–3 loss against Arsenal. The club introduced the "Baggies Brick Road" outside the East Stand of their home ground, The Hawthorns. Supporters were given the opportunity to purchase personalised bricks to add to the walkway. The first bricks were laid by broadcaster Adrian Chiles and comedian Frank Skinner, both of whom are Albion fans. England National Under-18 Football Team
England national under-18 football team, also known as England under-18s or England U18(s), represents England in association football at under-18 age level and is controlled by the Football Association, the governing body for football in England. The team is coached by Neil Ryan. The team competed in the FIFA International Youth Tournament (later taken over by UEFA) and its successor, the UEFA European Under-18 Championship, and was often referred to as England Youth. After the tournament was renamed the European Under-18 Championship, England won twice more, in 1980 and 1993. In 1997, eligibility rules changed and the competition was rebranded as the UEFA European Under-19 Championship in 2001. The England national under-17 football team, also known as England under-17s or England U17(s), represents England in football at an under-17 age level and is controlled by The Football Association, the governing body for football in England. They are currently coached by Ryan Garry. Competition history FIFA U-17 World Cup England reached the quarter-final stage at both the 2007 FIFA U-17 World Cup and 2011 FIFA U-17 World Cup. In October 2017, England defeated Spain in the final of the 2017 FIFA U-17 World Cup to become World Champions at this age level for the first time. Darlington
Darlington is a market town in the Borough of Darlington, County Durham, England. The River Skerne flows through the town; it is a tributary of the River Tees. James Morrison (footballer)
James Clark Morrison (born 25 May 1986) is a football coach and former professional player who played as a midfielder. He is widely regarded as one of the greatest West Bromwich Albion midfielders in the club’s history. Morrison is currently a first-team coach at West Bromwich Albion, and played for Middlesbrough and West Bromwich Albion between 2004 and 2019. After representing various England junior sides, Morrison chose to play for Scotland at full international level. He made 46 full international appearances between 2008 and 2017. Liam Matthew Ridgewell (born 21 July 1984) is an English retired professional footballer who played as a defender. He was primarily a centre back but could also play at left back. He is currently a coach for the Portland Timbers. Ridgewell, who earned eight caps for England at under-21 level, began his senior career with Aston Villa. Olle Jonas Olsson (born 10 March 1983) is a Swedish former professional footballer who played as a defender.
