2011–12 V AFG
The 2011–12 V AFG season is the 57th season of the Bulgarian V AFG, the third tier of the Bulgarian football league system. The winners of each of the four regional groups progress to the 2012–13 B PFG, and up to four teams from each group are relegated to regional amateur championships. Changes from the 2010–11 season Movement between B PFG and V AFG The champions of the four 2010–11 V AFG divisions were promoted to the 2011–12 B PFG: Spartak Varna from V AFG North-East and Botev Plovdiv from V AFG South-East promoted to the B PFG East, Bdin Vidin from V AFG North-West and Slivniski Geroy Slivnitsa from V AFG South-West ascended to the B PFG West. As the East B PFG needed one more team from the third division, the two runners-up from the Eastern divisions Neftochimic Burgas and Septemvri Tervel played a special play-off on 26 June 2011. Bulgarian V AFG
The Bulgarian Third Amateur Football League ( bg, Трета аматьорска футболна лига, Treta Amat'orska Futbolna Liga), commonly referred to as Third League ( bg, Трета лига) or Treta liga, is the third level of the Bulgarian football league system. Third League operates on a system of promotion and relegation with the second and the fourth tier of the Bulgarian football league pyramid – respectively being Second League and the A Oblast Groups. Currently Third League consists of four divisions that are formed by separating the country into four regions: ''North-West'', ''South-West'', ''North-East'' and ''South-East''. The divisions run in parallel during the season, but since the number of teams in each division may vary, the number of rounds in each of them may vary. FC Vihren Sandanski
OFC Vihren ( bg, ОФК Вихрен) is a Bulgarian football club from the town of Sandanski, currently playing in the South-West Third League. Sandanski's home ground is the Sandanski Stadium in Sandanski with a capacity of 6,000. Vihren Sandanski's team colours are green and white. Vihren was founded in 1925, changing its name several times during its early existence. Up until the early 2000s, Vihren played mostly in either the second or third tiers of Bulgarian football. Season 2004-05 is arguably the most important in the club's history, as the team managed to promote to the A PFG, or first tier of Bulgarian football, for the first time. FC Dunav ( bg, Дунав, officially named ''"Дунав от Русе"'') is a Bulgarian professional football club based in Ruse, which currently competes in the Second League, the second tier of the Bulgarian football league system. Part of a larger sports branch, Dunav were established on February 16, 1949, as a merger of two local football clubs in the city, Dinamo and Rusenets. FC Rilski Sportist (ФК Рилски спортист Самоков) is a Bulgarian football club from the town of Samokov founded in 1947 and currently playing in the South-West Third League. Their home stadium is Iskar Stadium. Throughout the majority of its history, Rilski Sportist has competed in the lower levels of Bulgarian football, usually the second, or third tiers. FC Marek ( bg, ФК Марек) is a Bulgarian football club based in Dupnitsa, currently playing in the Third League, the third level of the Bulgarian football league system. It was founded in 1947 following the unification of four local clubs. Home matches take place at Bonchuk Stadium, where Marek famously defeated Bayern Munich in 1977.
