2011–12 PBA Philippine Cup
The 2011–12 Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) Philippine Cup is the first conference of the 2011–12 PBA season. The tournament started on October 2, 2011, with Rain or Shine Elasto Painters against Barangay Ginebra Kings as the opening game. The tournament is an All-Filipino format, which does not require an import or a pure-foreign player for each team. Smart Araneta Coliseum
The Araneta Coliseum, also currently known by naming rights sponsorship as Smart Araneta Coliseum, is an indoor multi-purpose arena, sports arena that is part of the Araneta City in the Cubao area of Quezon City, Philippines. Nicknamed as "the Big Dome", it is one of the largest indoor arenas in Asia, and it is also one of the largest clear span domes in the world. Celino Cruz
Celino Salazar Cruz (born July 22, 1977) is a Filipino former professional basketball player. A deadly left-handed shooter, he is best known for his clutch plays. Cruz played eight seasons in the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). After playing for the Far Eastern University (FEU) Tamaraw in college, Cruz was drafted by the Talk 'N Text Phone Pals nineteenth overall in the 2002 PBA draft. Japeth Paul Cabrera Aguilar (born January 25, 1987) is a Filipino professional basketball player for the Barangay Ginebra San Miguel of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). He first played college basketball for the Ateneo Blue Eagles of the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP), but after two seasons, he moved to the Western Kentucky University Hilltoppers in the Division I (NCAA), Division I of the National Collegiate Athletic Association in the United States. Christopher Ryan Lutz (born February 11, 1985) is a Filipino-American former professional basketball player. He last played for the San Miguel Beermen of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). Lutz grew up in Bedford, New Hampshire. As a senior in Trinity High School in Manchester, New Hampshire, he averaged 20 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists per game and was a 3-time member of the first team All-State Selection. To date, he is Trinity's all-time leading scorer with over 1,600 points. After graduation from Trinity, Chris attended Brewster Academy in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire, as a postgraduate. Alexander Cabagnot Jr. (born December 8, 1982) is a Filipino professional basketball player for the Terrafirma Dyip of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). He plays the point guard position. Cuneta Astrodome
The Cuneta Astrodome is an indoor arena that is located in Pasay, Philippines. Since the 1993 PBA season, it was better known as the home of the Philippine Basketball Association. when it left the PhilSports Arena (that was then known as ULTRA), up until the 1998 PBA season, 1998 and since 2001 PBA season, 2001.
