The 2011–12 season was the 110th season of football for Norwich City. It was their first season in the Premier League for six years following promotion from the Championship in 2010–11 as runners-up. Norwich () is a cathedral city and district of Norfolk, England, of which it is the county town. Norwich is by the River Wensum, about north-east of London, north of Ipswich and east of Peterborough. As the seat of the Episcopal see, See of Norwich, with one of the country's largest medieval cathedrals, it is the largest settlement and has the largest Norwich built-up area, urban area in East Anglia. Aston Villa F
Aston is an area of inner Birmingham, England. Located immediately to the north-east of Central Birmingham, Aston constitutes a ward within the metropolitan authority. It is approximately 1.5 miles from Birmingham City Centre. History Aston was first mentioned in the Domesday Book in 1086 as "Estone", having a mill, a priest and therefore probably a church, woodland and ploughland. Zak Benjamin Whitbread (born January 10, 1984) is an American-English retired professional footballer who played as a defender. Steve Morison
Steven William Morison (born 29 August 1983) is a football manager and former professional footballer who played as a striker. He was most recently the manager of EFL Championship club Cardiff City. Morison started his career at Northampton Town at the age of 16, progressing through the club's centre of excellence. He made his first-team debut in 2002. Morison joined Conference South club Bishop's Stortford for an undisclosed fee in November 2004. After just under two years playing regularly at Stortford, he signed for Stevenage Borough for a "small four-figure fee" in August 2006. Bradley Paul Johnson (born 28 April 1987) is an English professional footballer who plays as a central midfielder for EFL League One club Milton Keynes Dons. Adam Drury (footballer, Born 1978)
Adam James Drury (born 29 August 1978) is an English former professional footballer who is best known for his eleven-year spell at Norwich City. Joining in 2001 from Peterborough United, he later went on to captain the club, and is a member of their Hall of Fame. After leaving, he had a short spell with Leeds United, before retiring from professional football at the end of the 2013–14 season. He is assistant manager at non-League club Wroxham. Russell Kenneth Alexander Martin (born 4 January 1986) is a professional football manager and former player. He is the head coach of Championship club Swansea City. A former defender, Martin began his playing career at Brighton & Hove Albion's youth academy. He established himself at Wycombe Wanderers in 2004, before moving to Peterborough United in 2008. Martin joined Norwich City in 2010 and made 309 appearances for the club. He then had brief spells with Rangers, Walsall and Milton Keynes Dons. John Thomas Gordon Ruddy (born 24 October 1986) is an English professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for club Birmingham City. Ruddy began his career at Cambridge United, before signing for Everton as a 19-year-old. He spent five years with Everton, but made just one appearance, while playing on loan at nine different clubs. Ruddy was signed by Paul Lambert to play for Norwich City in 2010 and, in his first season, was part of the team that finished second in the Championship, gaining promotion to the Premier League. Michael Wynn-Jones
Michael Wynn-Jones (born September 1941) is a Welsh writer, editor and publisher. He is the joint majority shareholder of Norwich City Football Club, with his wife, the former television cook Delia Smith. Early life Wynn-Jones studied at Lancing College and the University of Oxford, and is a writer, editor and publisher. His father was a Church of England vicar in Tivetshall and Redenhall with Harleston, and his mother was a teacher at Diss Grammar School. Wynn-Jones married Delia Smith in 1971 in Stowmarket, Suffolk.
