The 2011–12 Luxembourg Cup was the 87th season of Luxembourg's annual cup competition. It began on 28 August 2011 with Round 1 and ended on 26 May 2012 with the Final held at Stade Josy Barthel in Luxembourg City. The winners of the competition qualified for the first qualifying round2012/13 Access list

F91 Dudelange (; lb, F91 Diddeleng, italic=no, ) is a Luxembourger professional football club based in Dudelange which plays in the Luxembourg National Division. It was formed in 1991 as a merger between three teams in the town: Alliance Dudelange, Stade Dudelange and US Dudelange. Domestically, it has since won the National Division on 15 occasions and the Luxembourg Cup eight times. F91 Dudelange qualified for the 2018–19 UEFA Europa League, becoming the first club from the country to reach the group stage of a European competition. Dudelange also made the 2019–20 UEFA Europa League group stage where they became the first team from Luxembourg to win a game in the group stage after a shock 4–3 victory over APOEL of Cyprus. 2011–12 Luxembourg National Division
The 2011–12 Luxembourg National Division was the 98th season of top-tier football in Luxembourg. It began on 5 August 2011 and ended on 13 May 2012. F91 Dudelange were the defending champions having won their ninth league championship in the previous season. Team changes from 2010–11 Etzella Ettelbruck and Jeunesse Canach were relegated to the Division of Honour after finishing 13th and 14th in the previous season. Jeunesse Canach were relegated after one year in the top flight while Etzella leave after an eight-year stay in the league. They were replaced by 2010–11 Division of Honour champions Union 05 Kayl-Tétange and runners-up Rumelange. Kayl-Tétange are taking part in this competition for the first time in their history, while Rumelange return to the league after a one-year absence. FC Blue Boys Muhlenbach, commonly known as Blue Boys Muhlenbach, was an association football club based in the Muhlenbach district of Luxembourg, the capital city of Luxembourg. History The club was founded in 1932 as FC Blue Boys Muhlenbach, but changed its name to Sport Verein Muhlenbach. The original name was restored in 1944 and remained until 2009, when the name of Muhlenbach Lusitanos was adopted. In 2012 the club was renamed again as FC Blue Boys Muhlenbach. FC Wiltz 71 is a football club, based in Wiltz, in north-western Luxembourg. The club is currently playing in the highest football league in Luxembourg. History It was formed in 1971 as an amalgam of Union Sportive Niederwiltz and Gold a Ro'd Wiltz. In 1976, it absorbed Arminia Weidingen. The club plied its trade in the lower leagues of Luxembourgish football for most of its first sixty years, and only reached the third tier (the 'First Division') briefly in the 1970s, before relegation again. Football Club Mondercange is a football club, based in Mondercange, in south-western Luxembourg. In the 2005–06 season, Mondercange finished third in the Division of Honour. This qualified Mondercange for a play-off with FC Avenir Beggen, which they won, granting them promotion into the National Division.
