2011–12 Czech 2. Liga
The 2011–12 Czech 2. Liga is the 19th season of the Czech Second Division, the second tier of the Czech football league. The season began on 5 August 2011 and concluded on 26 May 2012. The winter break commenced after 19 November 2011 and the league restarted on 10 March 2012. FK Ústí nad Labem secured promotion to the Czech First League on 12 May 2012. However, due to their stadium, which did not comply with league regulations, Ústí were not granted a license to play in the following season's Czech First League. The promotion place therefore went to fourth-placed Brno. Team changes From 2. FK Ústí Nad Labem
FK Ústí nad Labem is a Czech football club based in the city of Ústí nad Labem. Currently the club plays in the Bohemian Football League. The club has played at the top level of national football on three occasions, most recently in the 2010–11 season. However their joy was short-lived as they were immediately relegated. History The club was established in 1945 under the name SK Ústí nad Labem. It played in the Czechoslovak First League in 1952 and 1958–59 seasons. FK Dukla Prague ( cs, FK Dukla Praha) is a Czech association football club located in the Dejvice area of Prague. It currently plays in the Czech National Football League. The club played in local competitions between 2001 and 2007, when it gained entry to the country's second league. Bohemian Football League (ČFL) ( cs, Česká fotbalová liga) is one of the third level football leagues of the Czech Republic (the other is the Moravian-Silesian Football League). The league comprises teams from the historic Bohemia region. History The league was formed in 1991 during the Czechoslovakia era, replacing the former ''II. ČNL'' (II. Česká národni liga; Second Czech National League) at the third tier of Czechoslovak football alongside sister league MSFL. Competition format The winner of ČFL is promoted to Czech National Football League.
