The 2011 e-Boks Sony Ericsson Open was the second edition of the tennis tournament e-Boks Danish Open, an international-level tournament on the 2011 WTA Tour. WTA International Tournaments
The WTA International Tournaments was a category for professional tennis tournaments of the Women's Tennis Association from the 2009 WTA Tour until 2020, which replaced the previous Tier III and Tier IV categories. The winner of a WTA International adds 280 points to her WTA ranking. For the 2020 season, there were 32 tournaments, all knock-out tournaments with a prize money for every event at $275,000 ($775,000 for Shenzhen, and $525,000 for Guangzhou and Hong Kong). Jelena Dokić
Jelena Dokic ( sr, Јелена Докић, Jelena Dokić; ; born 12 April 1983) is an Australian tennis coach, commentator, writer, and former professional tennis player. Her highest ranking as a tennis player was world No. 4, in August 2002. She won WTA Tour events on all surfaces during her career. In the 1999 Wimbledon Championships the 16-year-old Dokic achieved one of the biggest upsets in tennis history, beating Martina Hingis 6–2, 6–0. Katarzyna Piter (; born 16 February 1991) is a Polish professional tennis player. In the spring of 2014, she reached her career-high rankings, No. 95 in singles and 67 (new high in July 2022: No. 66) in doubles. Julia Boserup
Julia Boserup (born September 9, 1991) is an American retired tennis player of Danish descent. Boserup began playing tennis at age six, after her mother, a native of Denmark, enrolled her in group tennis lessons. She was home schooled in high school, which allowed her to focus more time on her tennis career which began in 2006. In 2017, she reached her highest WTA singles ranking of world No. 80, whilst her best doubles ranking was No. 218. However, she suffered from injuries, and in May 2019, she announced her retirement.
