The 2011 PTT Pattaya Open was a women's professional tennis tournament played on outdoor hard courts. It was the 20th edition of the PTT Pattaya Open (formerly known as the ''Pattaya Women's Open'') and was part of the International category on the 2011 WTA Tour. WTA International Tournaments
The WTA International Tournaments was a category for professional tennis tournaments of the Women's Tennis Association from the 2009 WTA Tour until 2020, which replaced the previous Tier III and Tier IV categories. The winner of a WTA International adds 280 points to her WTA ranking. For the 2020 season, there were 32 tournaments, all knock-out tournaments with a prize money for every event at $275,000 ($775,000 for Shenzhen, and $525,000 for Guangzhou and Hong Kong). A wild card (also wildcard or wild-card and also known as an at-large berth or at-large bid) is a tournament or playoff berth awarded to an individual or team that fails to qualify in the normal way; for example, by having a high ranking or winning a qualifying stage. Sun Shengnan (; ; born 21 January 1987) is a Chinese former tennis player. Her highest WTA singles ranking is 216th, which she reached on 4 April 2011. Her career high in doubles is 50th, which she reached on 17 September 2007. By March 2006, Sun had won two ITF singles titles and risen to No. 320 in the WTA rankings, and had earned herself a reputation as 'one to watch', having shown plenty of recent promise of further improvement in the preceding year. Nungnadda "Jib" Wannasuk ( th, หนึ่งนัดดา วรรณสุข; born 11 November 1989) is a Thai former professional tennis player. Career She earned her best result in the 2011 PTT Pattaya Open where she, as a qualifier, reached the second round. She lost to top seed Vera Zvonareva, 1–6, 5–7. Wannasuk fought hard as she was 1–6, 1–5 down. Wannasuk won nine singles titles and 15 doubles titles on the ITF Women's Circuit. Galina Olegovna Voskoboeva (russian: Галина Олеговна Воскобоева; born 18 December 1984) is a professional Russian-born Kazakhstani tennis player. She reached a career-high singles ranking of world No. 42 on 7 May 2012. Her best ranking in doubles is 26th, achieved on 20 August 2012. Zarina Diyas
Zarina Diyas ( kk, Зари́на Ди́ас; born 18 October 1993) is a Kazakh professional tennis player. She has been ranked as high as No. 31 in the world by the Women's Tennis Association (WTA). Diyas has won one WTA singles title, at the 2017 Japan Women's Open, as well as nine singles titles on the ITF Women's Circuit. Diyas mostly played on the ITF Circuit until 2014, her breakthrough season. During that year, she started outside the top 150, before progressing into the top 40 by September. This helped her enter tournaments on the WTA Tour more consistently, though she still plays ITF tournaments. She is one of most successful female tennis players representing Kazakhstan, along with Elena Rybakina and Yulia Putintseva.
