The Protyre 2011 Formula Renault BARC season was the 17th Formula Renault BARC Championship. The BARC is the British Automobile Racing Club (BARC) that is one of the biggest organising clubs for auto racing in the United Kingdom. The season began at Donington Park on 23 April and ended on 16 October at Silverstone, after twelve rounds held in England. British Formula Renault Championship
British Formula Renault Championship referred to one of two Formula Renault championships that were held in the United Kingdom. The main series was Renault Sport, Renault Sport UK's Formula Renault Eurocup, Formula Renault 2.0 UK championship which was held from 1989 to 2011 and was generally recognized as the British Formula Renault championship. However, in March 2012 it was announced that the Formula Renault UK series would not take place in 2012, with the series being ended definitively in September 2012. A secondary championship organised by the British Automobile Racing Club and known as the Protyre Formula Renault Championship was held continuously between 1995 and 2014. Dino Zamparelli
Dino Zamparelli (born 5 October 1992) is a British racing driver, born to English parents and with Italian ancestry. His father Mike was a F1 Powerboat World Championship racer. Career Early career Zamparelli began karting at the age of seven, and spent seven years in the various classes around the United Kingdom and Europe. In 2007 he debuted in Ginetta Junior Championship with Muzz Racing, finishing in thirteenth position. He stayed in series for the next year, and amassed ten wins and another five podiums on his way to the championship title. The Thruxton Circuit is a motor-racing circuit located near the village of Thruxton in Hampshire, England, United Kingdom, about 30 miles north of Southampton. Croft Circuit is a motor racing circuit located near Dalton-on-Tees in North Yorkshire, England. The tarmac circuit is long and is based on the lands of an airfield, but has long since moved on from being a basic airfield circuit. Oulton Park is a hard surfaced track used for motor racing, close to the village of Little Budworth, Cheshire, England. It is about from Winsford, from Chester city centre, from Northwich and from Warrington, with a nearby rail connection along the Mid-Cheshire Line. The Masters of Formula 3 was a Formula Three race held annually, usually at the Circuit Park Zandvoort in the Netherlands. Due to noise restrictions in the Zandvoort area, the 2007 and 2008 races were held in the Belgian circuit of Zolder. However, it returned to Zandvoort for the 2009 race. 2011 British Touring Car Championship Season
The 2011 Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship was the 54th British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) season. Cars conforming to the Next Generation Touring Car (NGTC) specification were allowed to compete in the championship for the first time, in a phased transition from Super 2000 specification to the NGTC specification. The season was also the final time that cars built to the BTC Touring specification were allowed to compete, ending the specification's decade of competition in the BTCC. Ivan Taranov ( rus, Ива́н Тара́нов, p=ɪˈvan tɐˈranəf; born 30 October 1994) is a Russian racing driver. Career Karting Born in Tolyatti, Taranov began karting in 2010, finishing eighth in the Daytona Max Lightweight Sprint Series. Formula Renault In 2011, Taranov moved into open-wheel racing, competing in Formula Renault BARC with Daytona Motorsport. Kourosh Khani (born 3 July 1989) is an Iranian racing driver. Biography Kourosh dominated numerous karting championships in his home country before moving to the UK in 2006.
