2011 Finnish Figure Skating Championships
The 2011 Finnish Figure Skating Championships ( fi, SM2011, yksinluistelu ja jäätanssi) took place between December 17 and 19, 2010 in Kupittaa of Turku. Skaters competed in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, and ice dancing on the senior and junior levels. The results were one of the criteria used to choose the Finnish teams to the 2011 World Championships, the 2011 European Championships, and the 2011 World Junior Championships. Turku
Turku ( ; ; sv, Åbo, ) is a city and former capital on the southwest coast of Finland at the mouth of the Aura River, in the region of Finland Proper (''Varsinais-Suomi'') and the former Turku and Pori Province (''Turun ja Porin lääni''; 1634–1997). Ari-Pekka Nurmenkari (born 8 July 1983) is a Finnish former competitive figure skater Figure skating is a sport in which individuals, pairs, or groups perform on figure skates on ice. Alisa Mikonsaari (born 19 June 1993) is a Finnish figure skater. She is the 2013 Finnish national bronze medalist and 2011 Finlandia Trophy bronze medalist. Competitive Career Mikonsaari replaced the injured Kiira Korpi in the Finnish team to the 2012 World Championships two weeks prior to the event, where she. Cecilia Törn (born 13 February 1994) is a Finnish former competitive ice dancer. With Jussiville Partanen, she is the 2015 International Cup of Nice champion, the 2017 Ice Challenge champion, and a three-time Finnish national champion (2016–2018). They won bronze at three ISU Challenger Series events and competed in the final segment at four ISU Championships. Career Early career Törn began learning to skate in 1999. Beata Leppilampi (née Papp (born 22 April 1995) is a Finnish former competitive figure skater. She placed 15th at the 2010 World Junior Championships and won two medals at the Finnish Championships. Personal life Beata Papp was born on 22 April 1995 in Kuopio, Finland and moved to Canada in the summer of 2007.
