2011 Citi Open
The 2011 Citi Open was a women's tennis tournament played on outdoor hard courts. It was the 1st edition of the Citi Open, and was a part of the WTA International tournaments of the 2011 WTA Tour. It took place at the College Park, Maryland in Washington, D.C., United States, from July 26 through July 31, 2011. Nadia Petrova won the singles title. WTA International Tournaments
The WTA International Tournaments was a category for professional tennis tournaments of the Women's Tennis Association from the 2009 WTA Tour until 2020, which replaced the previous Tier III and Tier IV categories. The winner of a WTA International adds 280 points to her WTA ranking. For the 2020 season, there were 32 tournaments, all knock-out tournaments with a prize money for every event at $275,000 ($775,000 for Shenzhen, and $525,000 for Guangzhou and Hong Kong). 2011 US Open Series
In tennis, the eighth edition of the US Open Series (known as Olympus US Open Series for sponsorships reasons), includes ten hard court tournaments that start on July 18, 2011 in Atlanta and will end in Winston-Salem for the men and in New Haven for the women on August 28, 2011. This edition has scheduled five separate men's tournaments, four women's tournaments, and the Western & Southern Open that will host both a men's and women's event. The series includes two ATP World Tour Masters 1000 and two WTA Premier 5 events to headline the series. Alla Alexandrovna Kudryavtseva (; born 3 November 1987) is a retired Russian tennis player. Kudryavtseva won one singles title and nine doubles titles on the WTA Tour, as well as two singles titles and 15 doubles titles on the ITF Women's Circuit. Petra Rampre (born 20 January 1980) is a Slovenian former professional tennis player. In her career, she won eight singles and five doubles titles on the ITF Circuit. Ryōko Fuda
(born 25 October 1986) is a retired Japanese tennis player. She turned professional in December 2003. Biography Fuda began playing at age five and was introduced to the sport by her father, Koji, a business owner, and mother, Atsuko. She speaks both Japanese and English and her favorite playing surface is hardcourt. She was coached by Masahide Sakamoto. Ryoko plays using her right hand. Her biggest success she had in early 2015, reaching her first WTA Tour final in January, followed by a fourth round major event appearance at the Australian Open. Misaki Doi
