Peterborough United F
Peterborough () is a cathedral city in Cambridgeshire, east of England. It is the largest part of the City of Peterborough unitary authority district (which covers a larger area than Peterborough itself). It was part of Northamptonshire until 1974, when county boundary change meant the city became part of Cambridgeshire instead. The city is north of London, on the River Nene which flows into the North Sea to the north-east. In 2020 the built-up area subdivision had an estimated population of 179,349. In 2021 the Unitary Authority area had a population of 215,671. The local topography is flat, and in some places, the land lies below sea level, for example in parts of the Fens to the east and to the south of Peterborough. Tom Kennedy (English Footballer)
Thomas Gordon Kennedy (born 24 June 1985) is an English former professional footballer who played as a left-back. He now plays semi-professionally for Ramsbottom United where he is club captain. Club career Kennedy was born in Bury, England and grew up supporting his local team Bury. His father, Keith Kennedy, played for Bury while his uncle, Alan Kennedy was a defender for Newcastle United and Liverpool. Ryan Bennett (footballer)
Ryan Bennett (born 6 March 1990) is an English professional footballer who plays as a centre back for EFL League One club Cambridge United. He was a youth product of Ipswich Town but was not offered a professional contract and thus signed for Grimsby Town in 2006. He remained with Grimsby for a further four years in which he earnt international caps for England U18 as well as becoming the club captain at a young age. In his final full season, he scooped the board in the club's player of the season ceremony. Grimsby Town cashed in on him in 2010 by selling him to Peterborough United after an initial loan deal. David Hibbert
David John Hibbert (born 28 January 1986) is an English former footballer who played as a striker; he is now working as a coach at Stoke City. Starting his professional career with Port Vale in 2004, the following year he was signed in controversial fashion by Preston North End – who eventually paid Vale £45,000 for his services. Following loans out to Rotherham United and Bradford City, he transferred to Shrewsbury Town in 2007 for £75,000. He managed to become a key first team player for the "Shrews", before leaving them for Peterborough United in 2010. Thomas Malcolm Rowe (born 24 September 1988) is an English professional footballer who primarily plays as a winger but can also operate at left back and currently plays for Doncaster Rovers. Career Stockport County Rowe was born in Wythenshawe, Manchester, and started his career as a boy with Manchester United in 2002. Grant McCann
Grant Samuel McCann (born 14 April 1980) is a Northern Irish professional football manager and former player who played as a midfielder in the Football League. He was most recently the manager of EFL League One club Peterborough United. Born in Belfast, McCann played in the Distillery youth system from 1995 until signing for the West Ham United Academy of Football in 1996, where he started his professional career. George Jan Boyd (born 2 October 1985) is a former professional footballer. Initially deployed as a left winger in the early stages of his career, Boyd was used more frequently in an attacking midfield role as his career progressed. David Michael Ball (born 14 December 1989) is an English professional footballer who plays as a striker for Wellington Phoenix in the A-League. Began his career at Manchester City, he never made a first-team appearance despite being a star player in the club's Reserve and Academy teams. He started the 2010–11 season on loan at Swindon Town, before he was signed by Peterborough United in January 2011. Lee Frecklington
Lee Craig Frecklington (born 8 September 1985) is a former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. Frecklington's came through the youth academy at home town club Lincoln City, he spent time on loan with Lincoln United and Stamford before going on to make 127 league appearances, scoring 21 goals. He was part of the Imps team that missed out on promotion to League One during the 2005–06 season. In 2009 he joined Peterborough United, later moving to Rotherham United in 2013 where he scored 26 times in 157 appearances, twice being promoted to the EFL Championship. James Peter Wesolowski (born 25 August 1987) is an Australian former professional soccer player who played as a midfielder. Club career Leicester City Wesolowski played for Australian side Northern Spirit before signing for Leicester City in 2002.
