2010–11 Morehead State Eagles Men's Basketball Team
The 2010–11 Morehead State Eagles men's basketball team represented Morehead State University during the 2010–11 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Eagles, led by 5th year head coach Donnie Tyndall, played their home games at Ellis Johnson Arena and are members of the Ohio Valley Conference. They finished the season 25–10, 13–5 in Ohio Valley play and were champions of the 2011 Ohio Valley Conference men's basketball tournament to earn an automatic bid in the 2011 NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament. Donnie Tyndall
Donald Joseph Tyndall (born June 14, 1970) is an American basketball coach currently working as the head coach for Chipola College of the NJCAA. Tyndall played college basketball at Iowa Central Community College and Morehead State Eagles men's basketball, Morehead State and has been a basketball coach since 1994. His teams are known for pressing and playing an unconventional match-up zone, a highly successful variation of the defensive system employed by coach Rick Pitino at Louisville. Tyndall began his coaching career at the junior college level, first as an assistant at Iowa Central Community College from 1994 to 1996. He had his first head coaching position in the 1996–97 season at St. Catharine College, where he had 30 wins. Demonte Tyrone Harper (born June 21, 1989) is an American professional basketball player for Derthona Basket of the Italian Lega Basket Serie A, LBA. He played college basketball at Morehead State University. High school career Harper attended Whites Creek High School in Whites Creek, Tennessee. Austin Peay Governors Men's Basketball
The Austin Peay Governors men's basketball team represents Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, Tennessee. The Governors play in the ASUN Conference starting in 2022–23, following 61 seasons in the Ohio Valley Conference. The team's most recent appearance in the NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament to date was in 2016, making the field of 68 by virtue of having won the 2016 Ohio Valley Conference men's basketball tournament.
