2010–11 Danish Cup
The 2010–11 Danish Cup was the 57th season of the Danish football cup competition. For the third year, the sponsor of the competition was Ekstra Bladet, a daily newspaper, who signed a 3-year contract with the Danish Football Association (DBU) in 2008, making the official name Ekstra Bladet Cup 2010–11. The competition opened on 9 August 2010 with the First Round and concluded on 22 May 2011 with the Final at the Parken Stadium. First round In this round entered 96 teams. There were 48 matches in the First Round, taking place between 9 and 17 August 2010. Second round The clubs who placed 5–10 in the 2009–10 Superliga – AaB, Midtjylland, Nordsjælland, Silkeborg, SønderjyskE and Randers – as well as the top two clubs from the 2009–10 First Division – Horsens and Lyngby – received a bye into the second round. Danish Cup
The Danish Cup ( da, Landspokalturneringen; often referred to as Pokalen) is the official "knockout" cup competition in Danish football, run by the Danish Football Association. The cup has been contested annually since 1955. The winner will qualify for the UEFA Europa League tournament the following year, where they (as of the 2009–10 season) will enter in the third qualifying round. The latest edition, 2017-18 Danish Cup, was won by Superliga-side Brøndby, beating Superliga-side Silkeborg 3–1 on 10 May 2018 at Parken Stadium, thereby winning their first domestic trophy since 2008. The final traditionally takes place on ''Kristi Himmelfarts Dag'' ( The Ascension) and it is always played in the Danish national stadium Parken. Ringkøbing IF
Ringkøbing Idrætsforening () is an association football club based in the town of Ringkøbing, West Jutland, Denmark, that competes in the Denmark Series, the fifth tier of the Danish football league system. Founded in 1900, it is shortly known as 'RIF' and affiliated to the DBU Jutland, the regional body of football in Jutland. FC Fyn
FC Fyn was a Danish football club from Odense on Funen. The club was founded in 2006 and its first appearance was in the 2006–07 season. FC Fyn played their home matches at Odense Atletikstadion, which is the current home ground of B 1909 and B 1913. The first manager was former Zambia national coach Roald Poulsen. Poulsen resigned for personal reasons in the end of 2007 and was replaced by Viggo Jensen. The team's home shirt was half red and half blue, while the away shirt was yellow. The club was declared bankrupt on 31 January 2013. Kolding FC was a Danish football club based in Kolding, a merger of two older football clubs. On 11 November 2006, the club received permission from the Danish FA to sign contracts. Before that, the club was the highest ranked amateur club in Denmark. In 2011 Kolding FC merged with Vejle Boldklub, but the merger came to an end again in 2013, without Kolding FC being reestablished.
