The 2010 Virginia National Bank Men's Pro Championship was a professional tennis tournament played on outdoor hard courts. It was the second edition of the tournament which was part of the 2010 ATP Challenger Tour. It took place in Charlottesville, United States between 1 and 7 November 2010. Tennis Court
A tennis court is the venue where the sport of tennis is played. It is a firm rectangular surface with a low net stretched across the centre. The same surface can be used to play both doubles and singles matches. A variety of surfaces can be used to create a tennis court, each with its own characteristics which affect the playing style of the game. Peter Luczak
Peter Luczak ( pl, Łuczak, ; born 31 August 1979) is a retired professional tennis player for Australia. His career-high ATP singles ranking was World No. 64, achieved in October 2009. At the 2010 Commonwealth Games held in Delhi, Luczak won the Gold in the doubles. Luczak came to Australia at 9 months of age, when his parents, Eva and Kris, left Warsaw in 1980, where they settled in Melbourne. Luczak started playing tennis at the age of 5, he was introduced to the game by his Polish born father Kris. He did not have major success at junior level and was not able to receive funding from Tennis Australia nor have a major sponsor. Michael Yani
Michael Yani (born December 31, 1980) is a former American tennis player. He turned professional in 2003. Yani is 6 ft 1 in (185 cm) and 75 kg (165 lb). He resides in Honolulu, Hawaii. After attending on a tennis scholarship, he graduated from Duke University in Durham, North Carolina, where he won All-America honors in 2002 and 2003, and was a 4-year letterman. Michael Shabaz
Michael Shabaz (born August 20, 1987) is an Assyrian-American tennis player who won the 2005 Wimbledon boys' doubles championship with Jesse Levine. He is an NCAA tennis player for the University of Virginia Cavaliers. College career Shabaz teamed with fellow Cavalier Dominic Inglot to win the 2009 NCAA men's doubles championship. They defeated doubles teams from Pepperdine, Texas Tech, and North Carolina before meeting John Patrick Smith and Davey Sandgren of the University of Tennessee in the finals. Yuki Bhambri (born 4 July 1992) is an Indian professional tennis player. He is a former junior no. 1 and winner of the 2009 Australian Open Junior Championship. He is the first Indian to win the junior Australian Open title and the fourth Indian in history to capture a junior singles title at a Grand Slam championship. He represents India in the Davis Cup. Jarmere Jenkins (born November 25, 1990) is a retired American professional tennis player who became the hitting partner for Serena Williams. He was the 2013 Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) National Player of the Year and male ACC Athlete of the Year after earning the national championships in indoor singles, outdoor doubles and team competition while also finishing runner up in outdoor singles. He was the first Atlantic Coast Conference athlete to win ACC athlete of the year solely for tennis accomplishments.
