2010 Supertaça Cândido De Oliveira
The 2010 Supertaça Cândido de Oliveira was the 32nd edition of the Supertaça Cândido de Oliveira, the annual Portuguese football season-opening match contested by the winners of the previous season's top league and cup competitions (or cup runner-up in case the league- and cup-winning club is the same). It took place on 7 August 2010 at the Estádio Municipal de Aveiro in Aveiro, and was contested between Benfica, the 2009–10 Primeira Liga winners, and Porto, the 2009–10 Taça de Portugal winners. Played in front of a crowd of 28,000, the ''Dragões'' defeated the ''Águias'' 2–0. Supertaça Cândido De Oliveira
The Supertaça Cândido de Oliveira (; English: Cândido de Oliveira Super Cup, or simply Portuguese Super Cup) is an annual Portuguese football match played since 1979 between the winners of the Portuguese League (Primeira Liga) and Portuguese Cup (Taça de Portugal). When a team wins both competitions (thus achieving the double (''dobradinha'')), it plays again against the Cup runners-up. The Supertaça has been organised by the Portuguese Football Federation since 1981 and is usually played in August, right before the start of the league season. The trophy is named after former player, coach and sports journalist Cândido de Oliveira. Helton da Silva Arruda (born 18 May 1978), known simply as Helton, is a Brazilian former footballer who played as a goalkeeper. After starting out at Vasco da Gama he went on to spend his professional career in Portugal, representing União de Leiria and Porto and winning 18 major titles for the latter club.
