2010 Scottish Challenge Cup Final
The 2011 Scottish Challenge Cup final was played between Queen of the South and Ross County at McDiarmid Park, Perth. Ross County won 2–0. The game had been postponed from November to April due to inclement weather. Queen of the South beat Peterhead 2–1 in their semi-final and Ross County beat Partick Thistle 4–3 on penalties after their semi-final ended at 2–2. The 2010–11 Scottish Challenge Cup, known as the ALBA Challenge Cup due to sponsorship reasons with MG Alba, was the 20th season of the competition, competed for by all 30 members of the Scottish Football League. The defending champions were Dundee, who defeated Inverness Caledonian Thistle 3–2 in the 2009 final. Dundee were knocked out in the second round after being defeated 4–1 by Stenhousemuir. Craig Reid (footballer Born 1986)
Craig Reid (born 26 February 1986) is a Scottish footballer who plays as an either a right back or centre-back for Hurlford United. Early life Craig attended Ardrossan Academy. Club career Celtic Reid started his career as a youth player with Celtic from 2002 until 2007 but never made a first team appearance, after signing from Ardrossan boys club TASS Thistle. Celtic loaned him out to Stirling Albion during the first half of the 2007–08 season to gain some first team experience. Reid played in 13 league matches during his time at Forthbank Stadium. Queen of the South Reid signed for Dumfries side Queen of the South in the January 2008 transfer window. Iain Angus Vigurs (born 7 May 1988) is a Scottish footballer who plays as a midfielder for Scottish League One club Cove Rangers. Andrew Barrowman (born 27 November 1984) is a Scottish retired professional footballer, who played as a striker. David Lilley
David William Lilley (born 31 October 1977 in Bellshill, North Lanarkshire) is a Scottish former professional footballer who usually plays at centre back but has also played at right back. Lilley was most recently the manager of Bellshill Athletic in the Scottish Junior Football Association, West Region. David William Hutton (born 18 May 1985) is a Scottish professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Airdrieonians. Hutton has previously played for Aberdeen, Petershill, Clyde, Queen of the South, Hamilton Academical, Greenock Morton, Ayr United, Dunfermline Athletic, Arbroath, Brechin City and Alloa Athletic. BBC Alba is a Scottish Gaelic-language free-to-air public broadcast television channel jointly owned by the BBC and MG Alba. The 2010 Scottish Cup Final was the 125th final of the Scotland's most prestigious football knockout competition, the Scottish Cup. The match took place on 15 May 2010, at Hampden Park, Glasgow and was contested by first time finalists Ross County and 1994 winners Dundee United.
