2010 Rallye Deutschland
The 2010 ADAC Rallye Deutschland was the 28th Rallye Deutschland and the ninth round of the 2010 World Rally Championship season. The rally took place between 20 and 22 August in Trier. It was the first of two WRC rounds where all WRC support series competed in the same round. The rally was the fourth round of the Junior World Rally Championship, the sixth round of the Production World Rally Championship and the seventh round of the Super 2000 World Rally Championship. Sébastien Loeb claimed his 59th WRC victory to move 58 points clear in the championship with a maximum of 100 points still available in the remaining four events. The rally also saw the only overall stage win for F1 driver Kimi Räikkönen. ADAC
ADAC, officially the Allgemeiner Deutscher Automobil-Club (), is Europe's largest motoring association. ADAC is the largest club (Verein) in Germany with around 21 million members. It would be more aptly described today as an individual mobility association since it looks more broadly at all transport options ensuring individual mobility. Its headquarters is located in Munich. Julien Ingrassia
Julien Ingrassia (born 26 November 1979) is a retired French rally co-driver. Working with Sébastien Ogier, he became World Rally Champion in 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2016 with Volkswagen Motorsport, 2017 and 2018 with M-Sport World Rally Team, and in 2020 and 2021 with Toyota Gazoo Racing WRT. Mark Van Eldik
Mark van Eldik (born 1967) is a Dutch rally driver, who scored World Rally Championship points on the 2010 Rallye Deutschland with a ninth-place finish. Career Van Eldik began rallying in 2002, competing in Dutch national events. In 2005 he made his World Rally Championship debut on Rally Catalunya, finishing 29th overall in his Group N Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VIII. In 2006 he purchased a Subaru Impreza S8 WRC, which he then replaced with a newer S10 version later in the year. He competed in that car on the 2006 Rallye Deutschland, where he finished 24th overall. At the end of the year he competed in Wales Rally GB in a Group N Mitsubishi, finishing 41st. For 2007, van Eldik purchased an Impreza S12 from Prodrive, which he used to take the Dutch championship title. Scott Martin (born 6 November 1981) is a British rallying co-driver who competes in the FIA World Rally Championship. Biography Martin began his rallying career in 2001 co-driving at a national level in the UK. With Matthew Wilson in 2004, he finished as second outright co-driver in the British Rally Championship (BRC) in the Ford Focus RS. After the 2004 season, Martin was accepted into the MSA British Rally Elite Scheme, a specialist training scheme for young British rally drivers. Matthew Wilson (born 29 January 1987) is a British rally driver from Cockermouth in Cumbria. He is the son of M-Sport boss and former World Rally Championship driver Malcolm Wilson. Chris Patterson (co-driver)
Chris Patterson (born 6 September 1968) is an Irish professional rally racing co-driver. Career Patterson competed first time in the World Rally Championship (WRC) in 1993 and has won the 2006 Production World Rally Championship with Nasser Al-Attiyah. Patterson is recognised as one of the world's most experienced rally navigators. 29 June 2010 he joined Petter Solberg World Rally Team to replace Solberg's retired co-driver Phil Mills. After Solberg switched to rallycross in 2013, Patterson was co-driving fellow Irishman Kris Meeke on a Citroën DS3 WRC in Rally Finland. Petter Solberg
Petter Solberg (born 18 November 1974) is a Norwegian former professional rally and rallycross driver. Solberg debuted in the World Rally Championship in 1998 and was signed by the Ford factory team in 1999. The following year, Solberg started his successful partnership with the Subaru World Rally Team. With the Subaru works team, Solberg finished runner-up to Marcus Grönholm in 2002 and then became the first Norwegian to win the drivers' world title in 2003. In the following two seasons, he finished runner-up to Sébastien Loeb.
