2010 Nebelhorn Trophy
The 2010 Nebelhorn Trophy took place between September 23 and 26, 2010 at the Eislaufzentrum Oberstdorf.http://web.icenetwork.com/news/article.jsp?ymd=20100925&content_id=15065688&vkey=ice_news The competition is held annually in Oberstdorf, Germany and is named after the Nebelhorn, a nearby mountain. It is one of the first international senior competitions of the season. Skaters are entered by their respective national federations and compete in four disciplines: men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dance. The Fritz-Geiger-Memorial Trophy was presented to the team with the highest placements across all disciplines. Oberstdorf
Oberstdorf ( Low Alemannic: ''Oberschdorf'') is a municipality and skiing and hiking town in Germany, located in the Allgäu region of the Bavarian Alps. It is the southernmost settlement in Germany and one of its highest towns. At the center of Oberstdorf is a church whose tall spire serves as a landmark for navigating around town. Konstantin Alexandrovich Menshov (russian: Константин Александрович Меньшов; born 23 February 1983) is a Russian former competitive figure skater. He is the 2014 European bronze medalist, the 2015 Finlandia Trophy champion, a two-time (2010, 2012) Nebelhorn Trophy silver medalist, a two-time (2007, 2012) NRW Trophy champion, and the 2011 Russian national champion. Menshov is one of the skaters to have landed two quad jumps in a short program and three quad jumps in a free program. Matthew Parr (figure Skater)
Matthew Parr (born 1 March 1990) is an English former competitive figure skater. He is a four-time British national champion (2009–10, 2013–14). Career Parr began competing on the ISU Junior Grand Prix series in 2004. He made his senior international debut at the 2008 Golden Spin of Zagreb. Following the 2009 European Championships, Parr was named as the British entry for the 2009 World Championships, replacing Elliot Hilton, but Hilton won a lawsuit against the National Ice Skating Association and was restored to the team. Parr competed at the 2009 World Junior Championships in Sofia, the 2010 European Championships in Tallinn, and 2010 World Championships in Turin. Franz Streubel
Franz Streubel (born 24 September 1991) is a German former competitive figure skater. He is a two-time (2015–16) German national champion and has won six senior international medals, including gold at the 2012 Bavarian Open and 2014 NRW Trophy. He has finished in the top 15 at three European Championships. Career Streubel debuted on the ISU Junior Grand Prix series in 2007. His first senior international event was the 2007 Finlandia Trophy. He was coached by Karel Fajfr in Oberstdorf during the 2008–09 season. Vlasta Kopřivová and Michael Huth became Streubel's coaches the following season, working with him in Oberstdorf. Viktor Pfeifer (born May 16, 1987) is an Austrian former competitive figure skater. An eight-time Austrian national champion, he has placed as high as eighth at the European Championships (2013) and has competed three times at the Winter Olympics, placing 22nd in 2006, 21st in 2010 and 26th in 2014. Maciej Cieplucha (Polish pronunciation: ; born 3 August 1988) is a Polish former competitive figure skater. He is the 2011 Finlandia Trophy bronze medalist, a two-time Warsaw Cup bronze medalist, and a three-time Polish national champion (2010, 2012, 2014). Joey Russell (born June 24, 1988 in Labrador City) is a Canadian former competitive figure skater. He competed at four ISU Championships; his best result was 11th, achieved at the 2007 World Junior Championships in Oberstdorf and at the 2010 Four Continents Championships in Jeonju.
