2010 Molde FK Season
The 2010 season was Molde's 3rd consecutive year in Tippeligaen, and their 34th season in the top flight of Norwegian football. They competed in Tippeligaen where they finished in 11th position, the Norwegian Cup where they were knocked out in the third round and the UEFA Europa League where they were knocked by Stuttgart in the third qualifying round. Head coach Kjell Jonevret was sacked on 30 August, with the club positioned in 14th place and in danger of being relegated, and was replaced by Uwe Rösler which saved the club from relegation with six wins and two draws in the last eight matches. Molde Fotballklubb () is a professional football club based in Molde, Norway, that competes in Eliteserien, the top flight of Norwegian football. Founded on 19 June 1911, the club was originally known as International and changed its name to Molde in 1915. Molde are five-time league champions (2011, 2012, 2014, 2019 & 2022) and five-time Norwegian Cup winners (1994, 2005, 2013, 2014 and 2021), and have finished second in the league a further nine times. Molde is one of only two Norwegian clubs to have participated in the UEFA Champions League. The club's home matches are played at the 11,249-capacity Aker Stadion. Magne Simonsen
Magne Simonsen (born 13 July 1988) is a Norway, Norwegian football defender who currently plays for 2. divisjon club Byåsen Toppfotball, Byåsen. Career He hails from Slemmestad, but joined FC Lyn Oslo, Lyn at a young age. He made his debut in the 2006 Royal League, then played a Norwegian football cup game before making his Eliteserien, Norwegian top flight debut on 6 August 2006 against Molde FK. He even scored a goal. Ahead of the 2007 season he was loaned to Asker Fotball, Asker. He returned before the end of the season, and played 7 league games. KIL/Hemne
KIL/Hemne is a Association football, football club from Kyrksæterøra in Hemne, Sør-Trøndelag. Top-level players Erik Hoftun, Ardian Gashi, Alex Valencia, Vegard Forren, Pål André Helland and Magnus Stamnestrø began their careers here. As of 2023, the Men's team play in the Norwegian Fourth Division, Fourth Division while the Women's team play in the Norwegian First Division (women), First Division. Magnus Stamnestrø
Magnus Stamnestrø (born 18 April 1992) is a former Norwegian footballer. He has represented his country at under-19 and under-21 level. Stamnestrø transferred from KIL/Hemne to Molde FK in 2010, and made his debut in Tippeligaen the same year. He won the league with Molde in both 2011 and 2012. He was sent on a season-long loan deal to Sogndal in April 2013. In 2014, he was first sent on loan to Kristiansund BK, and after the first half of the season the loan was made into a permanent transfer. In July 2015 he bought by Rosenborg BK. Moss FK
Moss Fotballklubb is a Norwegian football club, founded on 28 August 1906. They play in the 2. divisjon, the third highest division in the Norwegian football league system. They played in the Norwegian top flight between 1937-1939, 1953-1954, 1977-1985 (9 seasons), 1987-1990 (4 seasons), 1996 and 1998-2002. The club came close to earning promotion to the top flight in 2005, but lost the play-off against Molde. Stadium Moss play their home games at Melløs stadion, which has a capacity of around 10,000. Because of national rules of professional license for top clubs in Norway, the stadium has only been certified for 3,085 spectators. Built in 1939, it has remained the club's home ground ever since. Krister Wemberg
Krister Wemberg (born 21 February 1992) is a Norwegian footballer who plays as a defender for Bryne. He has previously played for Moss, Bodø/Glimt and Molde. Club career Early career Born in Sortland, Wemberg played for Sortland IL's youth categories. In 2008, at the age of 16, Wemberg made an unsuccessful trial with Everton. Sandefjord Fotball, commonly known simply as Sandefjord, is a Norwegian professional football club, founded on 10 September 1998. The club currently competes in Eliteserien, the top tier of the Norwegian football league system. Their home ground is the Release Arena, located in Sandefjord, Vestfold. Lyn 1896 Fotballklubb () is a Norwegian football club and a department of the sports club Ski- og Fotballklubben Lyn based in Oslo, whose members also participate in Nordic skiing and orienteering. Until 2010, SFK Lyn had two football departments, one professional section and one amateur section.
