2010 MPS Group Championships
The 2010 MPS Group Championships was a women's tennis tournament played on outdoor clay courts. It was the 31st edition of the MPS Group Championships and the second held in its new location, and was part of the International series of the 2010 WTA Tour. It took place at the Sawgrass Country Club in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, United States from April 5 through April 11, 2010. The tournament was headlined by world no. 2 Caroline Wozniacki, 2010 Moorilla Hobart International champion Alyona Bondarenko, 2008 finalist Dominika Cibulková, and 2010 Monterrey Open champion Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova. WTA International Tournaments
The WTA International Tournaments was a category for professional tennis tournaments of the Women's Tennis Association from the 2009 WTA Tour until 2020, which replaced the previous Tier III and Tier IV categories. The winner of a WTA International adds 280 points to her WTA ranking. For the 2020 season, there were 32 tournaments, all knock-out tournaments with a prize money for every event at $275,000 ($775,000 for Shenzhen, and $525,000 for Guangzhou and Hong Kong). Anna Tatishvili ( ka, ანა ტატიშვილი, tr, ; born February 3, 1990) is a Georgian-American former professional tennis player. In her career, Tatishvili won eleven singles and eight doubles titles on the ITF Women's Circuit. On 8 October 2012, she reached her career-high singles ranking of world No. 50. On 21 May 2012, she peaked at No. 59 in the doubles rankings. Sesil Radoslavova Karatantcheva ( bg, Сесил Радославова Каратанчева; born 8 August 1989) is a Bulgarian former tennis player. In her career, she won nine singles titles on the ITF Women's Circuit. On 7 November 2005, she reached her best singles ranking of world No. 35. On 19 April 2010, she peaked at No. 154 in the doubles rankings. Karatantcheva is perhaps best known for reaching the quarterfinals of the 2005 French Open, upsetting seven-time Grand Slam champion Venus Williams en route. Ayumi Morita
is a Japanese tennis player. She reached her career-high ranking of number 40 in the world in October 2011. At junior level, she reached a combined career-high ranking of world No. 3.
