2010 Italian Formula Three Season
The 2010 Italian Formula Three Championship was the 46th Italian Formula Three Championship season. The season began on 24 April at Misano and ended on 24 October at Monza after 16 races held at eight meetings. With victories at Hockenheim, Vallelunga and Monza, César Ramos of BVM – Target Racing finished the season as champion, becoming only the fifth non-Italian driver to win the title. He finished eight points clear of Lucidi Motors driver Stéphane Richelmi, who won four races during the season. Third place went to Prema Junior's Andrea Caldarelli, who took two victories at Mugello as well as the season-opening round at Misano. Ramos, Richelmi and Caldarelli each earned a Formula One test with Scuderia Ferrari, as well as a test in a Formula Renault 3.5 Series car. Italian Formula Three Championship
The Italian Formula Three Championship was the Formula Three racing competition in Italy. History Formula Three has traditionally been regarded as the first major stepping stone for F1 hopefuls - it is typically the first point in a driver's career at which most drivers in the series are aiming at professional careers in racing rather than being amateurs and enthusiasts. Success in F3 can lead directly to more senior formulae such as GP2, A1 Grand Prix, or even a Formula One test or race seat. Most notably in the late 1980s and early 1990s, the Italian F3 championship produced drivers who graduated to Formula One to varying success. Autodromo Enzo E Dino Ferrari
The Autodromo Internazionale Enzo e Dino Ferrari, better known as Imola, is a motor racing circuit in the town of Imola, in the Emilia-Romagna region of Italy, east of Bologna. It is one of the few major international circuits to run in an anti-clockwise direction. The circuit is named after Ferrari's late founder, Enzo Ferrari (1898–1988), and his son, Alfredo "Dino" Ferrari (1932–1956). Before Enzo's death, it was called Autodromo Dino Ferrari. The circuit has an FIA Grade One licence. Imola was the venue for the San Marino Grand Prix between 1981 and 2006. During this period, two Grands Prix were held in Italy every year, with the Italian Grand Prix taking place at Monza, so the Imola race was named after the nearby state. Imola also hosted the 1980 Italian Grand Prix in place of Monza. Edoardo Liberati (born 18 December 1992) is an Italian professional racing driver. Career Karting Liberati began karting in 2006 in the Italian 100 Junior Championship, finishing as runner–up in the series the following year. In the same year he also finished second in the Lazio Regional Championship. Formula Azzurra Liberati began his single-seater career in 2008 by participating in the Formula Azzurra series in his native Italy. During the season he took victories at Magione and Misano along with five further podiums to win the title by 12 points from Greek driver Stefanos Kamitsakis. Nicolas Marroc (born 5 December 1986 in La Roche-sur-Yon) is a French racing driver. Career Formula Renault Campus France Marroc began his formula racing career in the 2006 Championnat de France FFSA Formule Campus Renault Elf season. He finished ninth overall in the championship, taking seven point-scoring positions from thirteen races including one podium at Lédenon, scoring 44 points. Formula Renault In 2007 he participated in the Championnat de France Formula Renault 2.0 with Pole Services and TCS Racing, but was not classified. Samuele Buttarelli (born 2 May 1992 in Genoa) is a professional racing driver from Italy. Career Master Junior Formula Buttarelli began his single–seater career in the Spanish–based Master Junior Formula in 2007. He competed in just three of the 21 races and was subsequently classified in 23rd place. Formula Renault 2.0 The following year, Buttarelli stepped up to Formula Renault, competing in the Italian Formula Renault 2.0 and Swiss Formula Renault 2.0 series with Cram Competition. Kevin Giovesi (born 8 November 1993) is an Italian racing driver. He is the 2012 European F3 Open Copa Class champion. Career Karting Born in Rho, Giovesi began karting in 2005 and raced primarily in his native Italy for the majority of this part of career, working his way up from the junior ranks to progress through to the KF3 category by 2008. Dallara is an Italian race car manufacturer, founded by its current President, Gian Paolo Dallara. After working for Ferrari, Maserati, Lamborghini and De Tomaso, in 1972 in his native village of Varano de' Melegari (Parma), Italy he created "Dallara Automobili". Tyler Dueck
Tyler Dueck (born December 17, 1986) is a Canadian racing driver from Abbotsford, British Columbia. Dueck came up through karting and the Jim Russell Racing School. He finished fourth in Formula Russell in 2006 and made two Skip Barber National Championship starts in 2007. He then turned his career to Europe where he raced in the Italian Formula Renault Championship in 2008 and 2009, finishing 27th and 5th in points in his two seasons, capturing the 2009 season opener at Monza.
