The 2010 Hamilton Tiger-Cats season was the 53rd season for the team in the Canadian Football League and their 61st overall. The Tiger-Cats succeeded in making a second straight playoff appearance, as well as hosting a second straight playoff game, but lost the East Semi-Final to the Toronto Argonauts. CFL East Division
The East Division is one of the two regional divisions of the Canadian Football League, its counterpart being the West Division. Although the CFL was not founded until 1958, the East Division and its clubs are descended from earlier leagues. The four teams in the division are the Toronto Argonauts, Hamilton Tiger-Cats, Montreal Alouettes, and Ottawa Redblacks. Several now-defunct teams have also played in the East Division including two teams from the United States and a large number of teams that have played in Hamilton, Montreal, and Ottawa prior to the current teams from those cities. Justin Palardy
Justin Palardy (born May 24, 1988) is a professional Canadian football placekicker who is currently a free agent. He was drafted 36th overall by the Hamilton Tiger-Cats in the 2010 CFL Draft and was used as a punter. After being released by the Tiger-Cats, he was signed by the Winnipeg Blue Bombers as their placekicker, where he played for four seasons. Palardy also spent some time on the Ottawa Redblacks roster. In the 2010 season, he set the Blue Bombers single season record for place-kicking accuracy with 86.7%, a feat he would equal in 2012. He played CIS football for the Saint Mary's Huskies. DeAndra' Cobb
DeAndra' Cobb (born May 18, 1981) is a former professional American and Canadian football running back. He last played for the Montreal Alouettes of the Canadian Football League. He was drafted by the Atlanta Falcons in the sixth round of the 2005 NFL Draft. He played college football for the Michigan State Spartans. Cobb was also a member of the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Hamilton Tiger-Cats. Early years Cobb attended Clark High School in Las Vegas, Nevada and was a letterman in football and track. Adam Tafralis
Adam Gregory Tafralis (born August 30, 1983) is a former professional gridiron football quarterback. He was signed by the Indianapolis Colts as an undrafted free agent in 2008. He played college football at San Jose State University. He was also a member of the Hamilton Tiger-Cats, Sacramento Mountain Lions and Toronto Argonauts. Quinton Porter
Quinton George Porter (born December 28, 1982) is a former American professional gridiron football quarterback. He was on the practice squad for the Carolina Panthers of the National Football League (NFL). He was originally signed by the Houston Texans as an undrafted free agent in 2006. He played college football at Boston College. Porter has also been a player with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats of the CFL. Early life Porter grew up in Portland, Maine. 2010 BC Lions Season
The 2010 BC Lions season was the 53rd season for the team in the Canadian Football League and their 57th overall. The Lions finished the season in third place in the West Division with a second consecutive 8–10 record and qualified for the playoffs by winning their last game of the season. If they had lost, the Edmonton Eskimos would have qualified instead. The team had a dismal start, posting a 1–7 record to start the season, but won seven of their last 10 games to qualify for the playoffs for the 14th consecutive season. The Lions played the Saskatchewan Roughriders in the West Semi-Final, but lost the game in double overtime 41–38. The 2010 Toronto Argonauts season was the 53rd season for the team in the Canadian Football League and their 138th overall. The Argonauts improved upon their 3–15 record from 2009 and their 4–14 record from 2008 and qualified for the playoffs for the first time since 2007.
