2010 Formula 3 Euro Series
The 2010 Formula 3 Euro Series season was the eighth championship year of the Formula 3 Euro Series. It began on 10 April at Circuit Paul Ricard and finished on 17 October at Hockenheim after eighteen races at nine meetings. Grids for the 2010 season were substantially down on the previous season; with a maximum of sixteen drivers taking part in any of the season's meetings, after teams Manor Motorsport, SG Formula, Carlin Motorsport, HBR Motorsport and Kolles & Heinz Union all pulled out to focus on other series. On track, series veteran Edoardo Mortara returned to the formulae after a season competing for Arden International, and with seven victories – all coming in the Saturday, higher points-awarding races – during the season, Mortara took the championship at the wheel of his Signature-run Dallara-Volkswagen, giving Volkswagen their first Euro Series championship. Edoardo "Edo" Mortara (born 12 January 1987) is a Swiss-Italian- French professional racing driver for Maserati MSG Racing. Born in Geneva, Switzerland, he holds triple nationality from all three countries. He is a former Formula Three Euroseries champion and he almost claimed the DTM title with Audi in 2016. In 2021, he finished as the Vice Champion in the FIA Formula E World Companionship. He is a street circuit specialist and renowned as "Mr Macau". Currently, he is racing in the Formula E championship for the Venturi Team. Norisring
The Norisring is a street circuit in Nuremberg, Bavaria, Germany. Originally established as a motorcycle racing venue in 1947 and named in a 1950 competition to win a light motorcycle, the track became known as a sports car racing venue in the 1970s. Since 2000, it has been annually used by the Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters, the premier Germany-based touring car racing series. Circuit Ricardo Tormo, also known as ''Circuit de Valencia'' and officially named ''Circuit de la Comunitat Valenciana Ricardo Tormo'', is a motorsport race track located in Cheste (Valencian Community, Spain) and built in 1999. The track is named after Spanish, two-time world champion Grand Prix motorcycle racer Ricardo Tormo (1952–1998), who died in 1998 of leukemia. It has a capacity of 165,000 and a main straight of . 2010 German Formula Three Season
The 2010 ATS F3 Cup was the eighth edition of the German F3 Cup. The season consisted of nine race weekends, totalling eighteen races, beginning on 10 April at Oschersleben and ending on 3 October at the same venue. HS Technik driver Tom Dillmann became the first French driver to win the championship title after a title battle with Van Amersfoort Racing's Daniel Abt. Dillmann, who won six races during the season had held a seven-point championship lead into the final race over Abt, who won the opening race at Oschersleben to go with his other win at Assen, which meant that Abt had to finish in the top two placings to have a mathematical chance of overhauling Dillmann, but a broken lambda sensor eliminated Abt from challenging Dillmann. Kevin Jan Magnussen (born 5 October 1992) is a Danish racing driver currently competing in Formula One for Haas F1 Team. He is the son of four-time Le Mans winner and former Formula One driver Jan Magnussen. Brands Hatch is a motor racing circuit in West Kingsdown, Kent, England, United Kingdom.
