2010 FA Trophy Final
The 2010 FA Trophy Final was the 40th final of the Football Association's cup competition for levels 5–8 of the English football league system. The match was contested by Stevenage Borough who won the competition in 2007 and 2009, and Barrow who won the competition in 1990. Although Stevenage Borough, who had won the Football Conference were pre-match favourites ahead of Barrow who had finished 15th, Barrow won 2–1 in extra time, after the match had ended in a 1–1 draw. Club backgrounds Stevenage Borough Stevenage Borough were the first non-league team to appear three times at the new Wembley Stadium, London after winning two of the previous three FA Trophy competitions through victories in 2007 and 2009. Conference North
The National League North, formerly Conference North, is a division of the National League in England, immediately below the National League division. Along with the National League South, it is at the second level of the National League System, and at the sixth tier overall of the English football league system. It consists of teams located in Northern England, Norfolk and the English Midlands. Since the start of the 2015–16 season, the league has been known as the National League North (Vanarama National League North for sponsorship reasons). Andy Bond (footballer)
Andrew Mark Bond (born 16 March 1986) is an English professional footballer who last played as a central midfielder for club AFC Telford United. He has played in the Football League for Colchester United, Crewe Alexandra, Bristol Rovers, Stevenage and Crawley Town Career Wigan Junior Latics 1995-1997. Bond was an integral part of the WJL side that won the Warrington league title 3 seasons in a row. He started as a central midfielder but when manager Dave Harrison was appointed he was deployed as a centre half alongside Chris Travis and in front of the Goalkeeper Paul Harrison. Gateshead F
Gateshead () is a large town in northern England. It is on the River Tyne's southern bank, opposite Newcastle upon Tyne, Newcastle to which it is joined by seven bridges. Stacy Long
Stacy William Long (born 11 January 1985) is an English former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. Long started his football career at Charlton Athletic in 1995 and progressed through the youth system, spending ten years on the club's books, and although a regular in the reserve team, he did not make a first-team appearance. Before the start of the 2005–06 season, Long joined Notts County after being released from Charlton. He spent one season at the club, before moving into non-league with Ebbsfleet United in July 2006. Lee Boylan
Lee Martin Boylan (born 2 September 1978) is a former footballer who played as a striker. Boylan began his career with West Ham United in 1995, and progressed through the club's youth academy. He played one game for West Ham in the Premier League, as a substitute during the latter stages of the 1996–97 season. He was sent out on loan to Kingstonian in 1998, and was released on his return to his parent club in 1999. He had brief spells with Trelleborg in Sweden and with Exeter City, before rejoining Kingstonian on a permanent basis in 2000. Mark Alan Roberts (born 16 October 1983) is an English former professional Association football, footballer who played as a Defender (association football), defender. Vauxhall ( ) is a district in South West London, part of the London Borough of Lambeth, England. Vauxhall was part of Surrey until 1889 when the County of London was created. Philip Christopher Bolland (born 26 August 1976) is an English former footballer, who played as a centre back. Career Bolland enjoyed two spells at Chester City, having signed from Peterborough United in the summer of 2006 – just a few months after he'd moved in the opposite direction. Mark Wright has managed him at the four clubs he has been in charge of, namely Southport, Oxford, Chester and Peterborough. Maidenhead is a market town in the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead in the county of Berkshire, England, on the southwestern bank of the River Thames. David Stephen Bridges (born 22 September 1982) is an English former professional footballer. He played as a midfielder. Bridges started his career with local club Cambridge United, progressing through the club's youth system and eventually breaking into the first-team in 2001. He spent three seasons at Cambridge, before being released at the end of the 2003–04 season after failing to agree terms on a new contract. Bridges had a brief spell in Latvia playing for FK Rīga, before returning to England to play four games for Braintree Town in January 2005. Christopher Kellan Beardsley (born 28 February 1984) is an English former professional footballer who played as a striker. He is the fitness coach at club Burton Albion. Beardsley played youth football with Mickleover Sports and Derby County before starting his senior career with Mansfield Town. He broke into the first team in December 2002, and spent a brief period on loan at Worksop Town in the 2003–04 season. He left Mansfield in June 2004 and joined Doncaster Rovers a month later.
