2010 ECHL All-Star Game
The 2010 ECHL All-Star Game presented by Reebok was the held at the Citizens Business Bank Arena in Ontario, California, United States, home of the Ontario Reign. The game was held between two teams, each representing a conference (American and National) of the ECHL. The game was part of a two-day event of activities. On Tuesday, a skills competition among the ECHL players, called the ECHL All-Star Skills Competition presented by Reebok Hockey and was also sponsored by Toyota and the city of Ontario, California. It was the 13th edition of the skills challenge. The All-Star Game itself was played on a Wednesday evening. South Carolina Stingrays
The South Carolina Stingrays are a professional minor league ice hockey team based in North Charleston, South Carolina. The Stingrays play in the South Division of the ECHL's Eastern Conference. They play their home games at the North Charleston Coliseum. The Carolina Ice Palace, also located in North Charleston, serves as a practice facility and backup arena. Established in 1993, the team has been owned by a group of local businesses since 1995. The team was affiliated with the Washington Capitals of the National Hockey League and the Hershey Bears of the American Hockey League from 2004 to July 2012, when the Capitals announced their affiliation with the ECHL's Reading Royals. Greg Hogeboom
Gregory Hogeboom (born September 26, 1982) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey player. He last played for the Brampton Beast in the Central Hockey League. Hogeboom was selected by the Los Angeles Kings in the 5th round (152nd overall) of the 2002 NHL Entry Draft. College career Hogeboom played junior hockey for the Caledon Canadians and the Wexford Raiders of the Ontario Provincial Junior A Hockey League before signing to play US college hockey for Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, in 2000. In ice hockey, the captain is the player designated by a team as the only person authorized to speak with the game officials regarding rule interpretations when the captain is on the ice. At most levels of play each team must designate one captain and a number of alternate captains (usually two or three) who speak to the officials when the captain is on the bench. Captains wear a "C" on their sweaters, while alternate captains wear an "A". Alexandre Grenier-Pokulok (born May 25, 1986 in Vaudreuil-Dorion, Québec) is a Canadian professional ice hockey defenceman currently playing for Bâtisseurs de Montcalm of the Ligue Nord-Américaine de Hockey. Playing career Pokulok played one season with the Notre Dame Hounds of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League. The Victoria Salmon Kings were a professional ice hockey team based in Victoria, British Columbia, and members of the ECHL. The team debuted in the 2004–05 season and folded after the 2010–11 season. The Chilliwack Bruins of the major junior Western Hockey League relocated to become the Victoria Royals and the two teams could not simultaneously operate. The Charlotte Checkers are a minor-league professional ice hockey team based in Charlotte, North Carolina. They are members of the Atlantic Division of the Eastern Conference in the American Hockey League (AHL), and are the top minor league affiliate of the Florida Panthers of the National Hockey League (NHL). Bakersfield Condors (1998–2015)
The Bakersfield Condors were a minor league ice hockey team based in Bakersfield, California in the Pacific Division of the ECHL's Western Conference. The Condors played home games at Rabobank Arena. History Originally known as the "Bakersfield Fog", the team was founded in 1995 as a charter member of the West Coast Hockey League. They replaced the Bakersfield Oilers of the Pacific Southwest Hockey League when that league folded in 1994. The team became the "Condors" in 1998 when it moved into the new Centennial Garden. Marty Raymond
Marty Raymond (born October 2, 1964) is a Canadian professional ice hockey coach and former player. Raymond is the current head coach for the Cotter Schools Rambler boys hockey program, scheduled to compete in the Minnesota State High School League (MSHSL) in 2020-21. Raymond has served as head coach of the Hungarian club SAPA Fehérvár AV19 in the Austrian Hockey League. Prior to joining SAPA Fehérvár AV19 during the 2013 off season, he spent two seasons coaching KHL Medveščak, another EBEL club. Raymond was the long-time coach of the ECHL's Bakersfield Condors. Cail MacLean
Cail MacLean (born September 30, 1976) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey player and is an assistant coach for the Calgary Flames of the National Hockey League. Playing career MacLean was born in Middleton, Nova Scotia. He played his junior career with the Kingston Frontenacs of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL). After being skipped over in the NHL Entry Draft, MacLean signed his first professional contract with the ECHL's Jacksonville Lizard Kings in 1997. He played two partial seasons with Jacksonville while also playing games in the American Hockey League (AHL) and the International Hockey League (IHL).
