2010 Copa Chile Bicentenario
The 2010 Copa Chile Bicentenario was the 31st edition of the competition. The competition started on March 27, 2010 with the preliminary rounds and concludes on December 8, 2010 with the Final. The winner qualifies for the 2011 Copa Sudamericana. Schedule First round The first leg was played between May 13 and 19 May 2010, with the second legs played between May 20 and 23. The team with the most points after the two legs advanced to the next round. If both teams were equal on points, a penalty shootout took place (goal difference and away goals did not count). Copa Chile
The Copa Chile (''Chile Cup'') is an annual cup competition for Chilean football teams. Due to time constraints and club pressure, the trophy was cancelled in 2000, but returned in 2008. Its precursor was the Campeonato de Apertura (''Opening Championship''), played from 1933 to 1950. The cup is now open to every member club of the Chilean football league system, from professional teams; ( Primera División, Primera B & Segunda División), down to teams from the ANFA: Tercera División. Since the season 2009, the winners obtained a direct Copa Sudamericana spot for the next season, however this was change starting from the 2015 edition; since then the winners obtains a direct Copa Libertadores spot for the next season. Unión Temuco
Club Deportivo Unión Temuco was a Chilean professional football club based in Temuco, La Araucanía Region. The club played at the Primera B, the second tier of the Chilean football, until 2013 when it was folded. The club was established in January 2008 by former football star Marcelo Salas, who was born in Temuco. In 2009, the club joined to the Third Division tournament, and years later this tournament was won by Temuco, being the first official title of the club. Santiago Wanderers
Club de Deportes Santiago Wanderers is a football club based in Valparaíso, a founding member of the Chilean Football Federation. Their home ground, Estadio Elías Figueroa Brander, is in the north-west of the city. Wanderers have played their games there since 1931 after moving from Barrio Puerto. Club Deportes Puerto Montt is a Chilean football club based in the city of Puerto Montt, Los Lagos Region.
