2010 CRC Season
The 2010 CRC Season was the second season of the Canadian Rugby Championship. This was the first year when instead of the CRC Champion advancing to the Americas Rugby Championship, a Canada Selects team was chosen from players participating in the tournament to go on and represent Canada at the international tournament. This was also the first season that included a post-season to decide the winner of the MacTier Cup. The 2010 Canadian Rugby Championship champions were The Rock, who defeated the Prairie Wolf Pack 19–8, in the nationally televised final. Pre-season There was no formal pre-season that the league put in place, so several teams played exhibition games against touring sides in order to prepare themselves for the season. Nanyak Dala
Nanyak Dala (born 18 June 1984) is a Canadian rugby union player. His position is flanker, and he has played 14 tests for the Canadian national team. Dala currently plays for Castaway Wanderers RFC in the British Columbia Premiership and with Prairie Wolf Pack in the Canadian Rugby Championship. Personal life Dala was born in Jos, Nigeria, but moved to South Africa with his family and took up rugby at age 12. Eventually Dala would go on to represent KwaZulu-Natal provincial teams at various age-grade levels. Ken Goodland (rugby Union)
Ken Goodland (3 August 1940 – 26 March 1982) was an Australian rules footballer who played with Geelong in the VFL during the early 1960s. Football Used mostly as a ruckman or half back, Goodland came off the bench in Geelong's 1963 premiership side. On 6 July 1963 he was a member of the Geelong team that were comprehensively and unexpectedly beaten by Fitzroy, 9.13 (67) to 3.13 (31) in the 1963 Miracle Match. Ander Monro
Alexander "Ander" Monro (born September 6, 1981) is a Canadian rugby union footballer. He previously played for the Edinburgh Gunners, Waterloo R.F.C. and Colorno Rugby Club in Italy. He currently plays club rugby for Castaway Wanderers and plays with the Ontario Blues in the Canadian Rugby Championship. He is also a member of the Canadian national rugby team.
