2009–10 Pacific-10 Conference Women's Basketball Season
The 2009–10 Pacific-10 Conference women's basketball season began in October and ended with the Pac-10 Tournament on March 11–14, 2010 at the Galen Center, Los Angeles, California. Stanford won both the regular season and the tournament championships. Stanford and UCLA were selected to participate in the NCAA tournament. Stanford was the runner-up of the NCAA National Championship and completed the season with a 36-2 record. Cal won the WNIT Championship. Miami Hurricanes
The Miami Hurricanes (known informally as The U, UM, or The 'Canes) are the intercollegiate sports teams that represent the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida. Alamodome
The Alamodome is a 64,000-seat domed indoor multi-purpose stadium in San Antonio, Texas. It is located on the southeastern fringe of downtown San Antonio. The facility opened on May 15, 1993, having been constructed at a cost of $186 million. The multi-purpose facility was intended to increase the city's convention traffic and attract a professional football franchise. It also placated the San Antonio Spurs' demands for a larger arena. The Spurs played in the Alamodome for a decade, then became disenchanted with the facility and convinced Bexar County to construct a new arena for them, now called the AT&T Center. The 2009–10 Georgia Lady Bulldogs basketball team represented the University of Georgia in the 2009–10 NCAA Division I basketball season. The Lady Bulldogs compete in the Southeastern Conference. The 2009–10 Nebraska Cornhuskers women's basketball team represented the University of Nebraska in the 2009–10 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. June Karen Daugherty (née Brewer; August 11, 1956 – August 2, 2021) was an American women's college basketball coach who was head coach at Washington State University. Coaching career In her seven years as head coach at Boise State from 1989 to 1996, Daugherty finished with a 122-75 record, 73-31 in the Big Sky Conference. In her 11 years at Washington from 1996 to 2007, Daugherty took her teams to the NCAA tournament 6 times, including her final year. Her contract was not renewed after the season.
