2009–10 NCAA Division I Women's Ice Hockey Season
The 2009–10 NCAA Division I women's ice hockey season began on October 2, 2009, ending with the 2010 NCAA Division I Women's Ice Hockey Tournament's championship game on March 21, 2010 at Ridder Arena in Minneapolis. It marked the third time that Minneapolis had hosted the Frozen Four. The tournament's opening round was scheduled for Friday, February 26, 2010, followed by the Final Faceoff on Saturday through Sunday, March 6–7, 2010. The quarterfinals were played on Friday through Saturday, March 12–13, 2010, with the Frozen Four played on Friday and Saturday, March 19 and 20, 2010. Elin Anna Maria Holmlöv (born 5 August 1987) is a Swedish retired ice hockey player. She plays forward position for the Sweden women's national ice hockey team. Nina Minttu Maria Tikkinen (born 6 February 1987) is a retired Finnish ice hockey player. Florence Schelling
Florence Isabelle Schelling (born 9 March 1989) is a Swiss former professional ice hockey goaltender. She briefly served as General manager of SC Bern from 2020 to 2021. She was the first woman to be named GM of a professional men's team in the world. During her playing career, Schelling competed internationally with the Swiss women's national ice hockey team at the 2006 Winter Olympics, 2010 Winter Olympics and 2014 Winter Olympics. Stefanie Andrea Marty (born 16 April 1988) is a Swiss retired ice hockey player who currently serves as assistant coach to SC Reinach of the SWHL A. She was a member of the Swiss national team from 2003 until her retirement in 2017. Julia Kathrin Marty (born 16 April 1988) is a Swiss ice hockey player, currently playing in the Women's League (SWHL A) with EV Bomo Thun. Monique Edith Lamoureux-Morando (born July 3, 1989), previously known as Monique Lamoureux-Kolls, is a former American ice hockey player, author, gender equity advocate, and co-founder of the Lamoureux Foundation. She scored the game-tying goal in the final of the 2018 Winter Olympics before her twin sister Jocelyne scored the last shootout goal of the game to clinch the gold medal. She also captured silver medals for Team USA at the 2010 and 2014 Winter Olympics.
