The signals are received via an outdoor parabolic antenna commonly referred to as a satellite dish and a low-noise block downconverter. A satellite receiver then decodes the desired television program for viewing on a television set. Receivers can be external set-top boxes, or a built-in television tuner. Satellite television provides a wide range of channels and services. It is usually the only television available in many remote geographic areas without terrestrial television or cable television service. ''Totoy Bato'' is a 2009 Philippine television drama series broadcast by GMA Network. The series is based on the graphic novel created by Carlo J. Caparas. Directed by Mac Alejandre and Don Michael Perez, it stars Robin Padilla in the title role. It premiered on February 23, 2009 on the network's Telebabad line up replacing ''Gagambino''. The series concluded on July 3, 2009 with a total of 93 episodes. It was replaced by '' Rosalinda'' in its timeslot. The series was released on DVD by GMA Records. ''Wow Mali'' () is the longest-running, multi-awarded and top-rated gag show in the Philippines which was aired on TV5 from May 25, 1996, to August 2, 2008, and from February 22, 2009, to June 28, 2015, originally hosted by Joey de Leon. it is currently hosted by Jose Manalo and Wally Bayola served as the hosts The show was discontinued in May 2007 but some episodes still aired on ''Wow Mali Bytes'' and ''Wow Mali Express''. ''Ruffa & Ai'' is a Philippine morning talk and lifestyle show on ABS-CBN which was aired from February 16 to October 23, 2009. The show is hosted by Ruffa Gutierrez and Ai-Ai delas Alas. Q (formerly QTV, standing for Quality TeleVision) was a television network in the Philippines run by GMA Network Inc. through Citynet Network Marketing and Productions, Inc.
