2009 South American U-20 Championship
The 2009 South American Youth Championship (Sudamericano sub-20) was a football competition for national teams U-20 who are associated with the football federation CONMEBOL. It was the 24th time the tournament was held and took place in Venezuela from January 19 to February 8. It also served as qualification for the 2009 FIFA U-20 World Cup. Brazil won the tournament, becoming champions for the tenth time. The tournament was initially hosted in Peru, however following FIFA sanctions over Peruvian Government's investigation of the FPF's corruption, it was moved to Venezuela. Walter Henrique Da Silva
Walter Henrique da Silva (born 22 July 1989), known simply as Walter, is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as a striker for Esporte Clube Pelotas. Early life Born in Recife, Pernambuco, Walter was the youngest of six siblings born to his mother Edith, all the four males' names starting with the letter "W" (himself, Waldemir, Waldex and Wandeork). During his childhood, he viewed the dead bodies of two people who had just been murdered inside a bus, including that of his brother Waldemir at the age of 18 due to gang-related issues. Eduardo Antonio Salvio (born 13 July 1990) is an Argentine professional footballer who plays as a winger for Liga MX club UNAM. Salvio started his career with Lanús in 2008. Leandro Sebastián Velázquez (born 10 May 1989) is an Argentine professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for Malaysia Super League club Johor Darul Ta'zim. Marco Jhonnier Pérez Murillo (born September 18, 1990) is a Colombian footballer who plays as a striker for Categoría Primera A club Junior. Career Pérez debuted for Boyacá Chicó in 2006 at the age of 17 and became a starter ahead of more experienced strikers. He played the 2009–10 Argentine Primera División season on loan with Gimnasia y Esgrima La Plata, and helped the team avoid relegation from the first division.
