It began on 6 June 2009, at Autódromo Internacional Nelson Piquet in Brasília and ended on 22 November at Autódromo Internacional de Curitiba. Brazilian driver Leonardo Cordeiro won the title. Formula 3 Sudamericana
Formula 3 Sudamericana was a South American Formula Three championship. It was inaugurated in 1987 and primarily held races in Brazil and Argentina, with a small number of events held in other countries across the continent. Its most notable graduates include former Formula One drivers Nelson Piquet Jr., Ricardo Zonta and Christian Fittipaldi, four-time Indianapolis 500 winner Hélio Castroneves, and Champ Car champion and former F1 driver Cristiano da Matta. The series was replaced for 2014 by the Brazilian Formula Three Championship, which focuses on Brazilian circuits and drivers. Background Prior to the creation in 1987 of a regional Formula Three championship in South America, the Codasur championship was held annually between 1983 and 1986. Bruno Andrade (born February 6, 1991 in São Paulo is a Brazilian racing driver. Career Karting Andrade began his racing career in karting in 2004. He continued karting in junior categories in 2005 and 2006 In 2007 Andrade became champion São Paulo kart, Graduates in category B. In 2008, he was runner-up Grand Prix RBC, Graduate category A. Formula Three Sudamericana In 2009, Andrade competed in Formula Three Sudamericana Lights finishing third and Formula São Paulo where he won the championship. Andrade moved up to the main championship in 2010 and won four of the first six races. In the last race, he was in third and his closest championship challenger, Yann Cunha, the only one who could take the championship from him, was behind him. Buenos Aires Grand Prix (motor Racing)
The Buenos Aires Grand Prix was a motor race held in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The event was first held at the Costanera circuit from the early 1930s until 1936 and then continued in 1941 at the Retiro circuit. After a six-year break and General Juan Peron in office, racing resumed at Retiro in 1947 with the start of the South American "Temporada" Grand Prix series to be contested twice a year under Formula Libre regulations. Italian Luigi Villoresi won all 1947 Temporada events. The race regularly attracted Brazilian and European drivers and also Argentine drivers such as Juan Manuel Fangio and José Froilán González were now competing in Europe on a regular basis. For the 1948 Grand Prix season, the race was moved to the Palermo circuit where it would remain to host six of twelve "Peron Cup" races until the end of 1950. Santa Cruz do Sul () is a city in central Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil.
