Gachibowli Indoor Stadium
G. M. C. Balayogi Indoor Stadium is an indoor arena located in Hyderabad, India. It holds 5,000 people. It is located in the Gachibowli suburb. The stadium was built in 2002 headed by N. Chandrababu Naidu Government to host the 2003 Afro -Asian games. The indoor stadium is located beside the International Institute of Information Technology, Hyderabad, Hyderabad International Institute of Information Technology. The Sport venue, venue hosted the 2009 BWF World Championships. It is one of the home arenas for the India's prime basketball league, the UBA Pro Basketball League. Anthony Clark (badminton)
Anthony Ian Clark (born 1 November 1977) is an English former badminton player. He is a mixed and men's doubles silver medalists at the 2006 World Championships. Clark won the mixed doubles title at the 2008 European Championships, and was part of the England winning team at the 2002 Commonwealth Games. Career 2004 Summer Olympics Clark competed in badminton at the 2004 Summer Olympics in men's doubles with partner Nathan Robertson. Mohd Fairuzizuan Mohd Tazari
Muhammad Fairuzizuan Mohd Tazari (born 5 February 1983) is a former male badminton player from Malaysia. Career 2007 Mohd Fairuzizuan played at the 2007 BWF World Championships in men's doubles with Mohd Zakry Abdul Latif. They were seeded #7 and were defeated in the second round by Guo Zhendong and Xie Zhongbo, of China, 21–14, 21–13. At the 2007 China Open Super Series they beat the tournament number two seeded, Cai Yun and Fu Haifeng, in three sets in the first round. Bona Septano
Bona Septano (born 22 September 1987) is an Indonesian former badminton player. He currently works as pilot in Indonesian airlines. Bona Septano concentrates on men's doubles with Mohammad Ahsan. They have competed successfully on the international circuit including a finals appearances at the 2011 Japan Super Series. Unlike many other top doubles players he does not play in mixed doubles. After Olympic Games in London the pair was separated. And later was pairing with Fran Kurniawan. He is the younger brother of Markis Kido and the older brother of Pia Zebadiah Bernadet. Mohammad Ahsan
Mohammad Ahsan (born 7 September 1987) is an Indonesian badminton player affiliated with Djarum club who specializes in the men's doubles. He is three-time World Champion, three-time season ending finals champion, and Asian Games gold medalist. Joining the Djarum club since 2007, opened Ahsan's opportunity to join the Indonesian national team until he finally implemented it in the middle of 2008. Paired with Bona Septano, they managed to win the bronze medal at the 2011 BWF World Championships, and were ranked as high as sixth in the BWF World Rankings. Ahsan broke the world's men's doubles stage when he teamed-up with Hendra Setiawan. Carsten Mogensen
Carsten Mogensen (born 24 July 1983) is a former badminton player from Denmark. He was the gold medalist at the 2015 European Games, two time European champions winning in 2012 and 2017, and the silver medalist at the 2012 Summer Olympics. Mogensen was a former world number 1 in the BWF World ranking together with Mathias Boe. Early life Mogensen was born in Roskilde, a city on the island of Zealand and is currently living in nearby Greve. Mathias Boe
Mathias Boe (born 11 July 1980) is a badminton player from Denmark. He was the gold medalist at the 2015 European Games, two time European champions winning in 2012 and 2017, and the silver medalist at the 2012 Summer Olympics. He joined the Denmark winning team at the 2016 Thomas Cup in Kunshan, China. Career He won the silver medal at the 2006 European Championships in men's doubles with Carsten Mogensen. Jonas Rasmussen
Jonas Rasmussen (born 28 October 1977 in Aarhus) is a retired badminton player from Denmark. Career With his men's doubles partner Lars Paaske he won the 2003 IBF World Championships defeating Indonesian pair Candra Wijaya and Sigit Budiarto in the gold medal match and the All England Super Series 2010 defeating compatriots Mathias Boe and Carsten Mogensen. Lars Paaske (born 18 January 1976) is a badminton player from Denmark. Career He competed in badminton at the 2004 Summer Olympics in men's doubles with partner Jonas Rasmussen. After an initial bye in the first round, then were defeated in the next round by Yim Bang-eun and Kim Yong-hyun of Korea. Paaske then competed in the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing in men's doubles again with partner Jonas Rasmussen where they were chasing the one medal lacking in their collection: An Olympic medal. Hendra Setiawan
Hendra Setiawan (born 25 August 1984) is an Indonesian badminton player. He is an Olympic Games gold medalist, four-time World Champion, two-time Asian Games gold medalist, and two-time All England champion. With these achievements, Setiawan has collected all major individual titles in badminton. He is considered to be one of the greatest men's doubles players in badminton history. Markis Kido (11 August 1984 – 14 June 2021) was an Indonesian badminton player and one of the world's leading in men's doubles discipline. He won the discipline's gold medal at the 2006 World Cup, 2007 World Championships, 2008 Olympic Games, 2009 Asia Championships, and 2010 Asian Games with Hendra Setiawan. Career In 2005, with Hendra Setiawan, he won the Asian Badminton Championships and the Indonesia Open.
