Albanian Supercup
The Albanian Supercup is a single match usually at the beginning of the season between the winners of the Kategoria Superiore and Albanian Cup. Supercup final was not played in the occasions when the champion team won the Double (association football), Double. However, after year 2000 Albanian Football Association, AFA rules changed and the final would still be played against the Albanian Cup, Cup runner-ups. There have been 29 finals played in total. KF Tirana are the most successful team to have won the trophy 12 times. KF Tirana
Klubi i Futbollit Tirana (KF Tirana) is an Albanian football club based in the country's capital city, Tirana. The men's football club is part of the multi-disciplinary sports club SK Tirana, and is the most successful in Albania, having won 54 recognized major domestic trophies. They play their home games at the Selman Stërmasi Stadium in Tirana and they play in the Kategoria Superiore. Flamurtari FC is a professional football club based in Vlorë, Albania. The club plays in the Kategoria e Parë, which is the second tier of football in the country. Founded in 1923, the club is one of the oldest in Albania, and it is also one of the most successful clubs, having won one Albanian Superliga title in 1991 four Albanian Cups and two Albanian Supercups. Qemal Stafa Stadium
The Qemal Stafa Stadium ( sq, Stadiumi Qemal Stafa), named after Qemal Stafa (1920–1942), a Albanian Resistance of World War II, World War II hero, was a national stadium and the largest football (soccer), football stadium in Tirana, Albania. Construction started in 1939 and the stadium was inaugurated in 1946 for the Balkan Cup 1946, Balkan Cup, which was won by the Albania national football team. The stadium has been used for football matches of the Albanian Superliga and the national team, athletics (sport), athletic events, and the six Spartakiad (Albania), Albanian Spartakiads. Although it was enlarged in 1974 to accommodate up to 35,000 spectators, in the 1990s it became an all-seater stadium, and its capacity was reduced to 19,700. Tirana
Tirana ( , ; aln, Tirona) is the capital and largest city of Albania. It is located in the centre of the country, enclosed by mountains and hills with Dajti rising to the east and a slight valley to the northwest overlooking the Adriatic Sea in the distance. 2008 Albanian Supercup is the 15th edition of the Albanian Supercup since its establishment in 1989. The match was contested between the 2008 Cup winners Vllaznia Shkodër and the 2007–08 Albanian Superliga champions Dinamo Tirana. Dinamo Tirana won the final by 2 goals to nil and lifted the cup after years of Tirana dominance of the event. Arbër Abilaliaj (born 6 June 1986) is an Albanian football player who plays for Skënderbeu Korçë in the Albanian Superliga as a forward. Club career Partizani Tirana Abilaliaj previously played for Partizani Tirana, where he appeared as the club lost in the UEFA Intertoto Cup 2006 first round to Ethnikos Achna FC, despite scoring a goal in the second leg. While at Partizani, Abilaliaj had unsuccessful trials at FC Erzgebirge Aue and TuS Koblenz. Tirana Abilaliaj announced his departure from Besa Kavajë and later signed a one-year deal with the reigning champions Tirana for the 2009–10 season.
